Jess has been the most wonderful pet sitter to my 14 guinea pigs and 2 rabbits! Having her enabled my pets to stay in the comfort of their own homes instead of being boarded elsewhere, and all for an excellent price. I would highly recommend Jess as she is reliable, highly attentive to your concerns towards your pets as well as their needs and really goes the extra mile by sending photos and updates each day of your pets! Such an amazing service. Jess took our Newfoundland puppy of 12 weeks at really short notice for us. There was nobody else we would have entrusted him with. Looked after fantastically. Happy, relaxed and thriving, so very happy with the great care. Jess was also very flexible with regards to changing requirements from us in terms of the dog sitting needed, so definitely went well beyond the 'norm' to offer the best possible care for our pup. Really, really impressed with Jess' response to our puppy sitting needs. She moved without notice to take our pup from us when we needed some emergency dogsitting, and offered outstanding care. He's a newfie pup, so isn't the easiest to look after but he was very well looked after, very relaxed and really enjoyed his time there! Lots of photos for us too so we felt at ease, and she was very flexible in terms of us picking him up on short notice as well. What do you love most about your job?
The best part of my job is getting to know the quirks and personalities of each pet that I care for. I love building a relationship with each pet so that I can tailor my care to their needs...whether that is extra tummy tickles or special praise for good behaviour! One of the key questions that I ask during meet and greets is 'is there anything that your pet particularly likes'. As a result, I can ensure that each and every experience your pet has with me is the best it can be.
I also love the fact that all of the owners I meet really love their pets and care deeply about their welfare. This is exactly the reason why they are using my services to ensure that their pet is happy and safe whilst they are away. It's really great to meet like-minded people that have a passion for animals.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always absolutely adored animals and have been surrounded by them my whole life. Whilst other little girls were dreaming about getting married...I would be dreaming about puppies, kitten, ponies (...the list goes on!). My inspiration for starting my own business actually came whilst volunteering a animal welfare charities in Surrey (Mane Chance Sanctuary and Wildlife Aid). Volunteering to help animals was such a rewarding and enjoyable experience, I realised that I had to make the jump and start my own business with animals and their welfare at the heart of it.
Why should our clients choose you?
If you are looking for a friendly and reliable person who will care for your pet as if it is their own then you should choose me! I know how nerve-wracking it can be leaving your pet (they are a huge part of the family after all!) so I encourage all owners to meet me before proceeding with any booking. The meet and greet is really important because it gives you the opportunity to ask me any questions you may have and to see how I interact with your pet. It is also important for me to meet you and your pet to ensure that we are all a good match. There is no obligation to proceed with a booking after the meet and greet...although I haven't been turned down yet!
Whilst caring for your pet I will send you regular updates, including photos so that you can see that they are being well cared for and having fun.
