Lori does an excellent job tailoring my work-out to my needs and capabilities. Since starting to work with her, I've gotten much stronger, have more balance and energy, and much better muscle tone. And Lori manages to make it all super fun, always watching that I push myself enough to advance, but never too much, avoiding injury. She puts together very versatile programs for each session, always different and interesting, so the work-out never feels repetitive. STEP 1 - We match you with a trainer.

We have 15 trainers on our team, each with a different skillset. Our head trainer Amber reviews your history and uses her 18 years of experience to match you with just the right trainer.

STEP 2 - Try a session.

Schedule a session. See if the trainer is a good match for you. If not try someone else.

In some areas we are offering a free session! Let us know your zip code and we'll tell you if you are in one of our free session areas.

STEP 3 - Design a plan.

Make a plan with your trainer. Design your session frequency. Design your workouts with the trainer. Let your trainer develop a plan for you to do on your own. Discuss lifestyle habits. Eating. Sleeping. Stress. Our trainers consider the whole you in developing your plan.

CONSISTENCY

The beautiful thing about in-home training is that you don't have to decide to do it. Your trainer just shows up. Bad weather? Your trainer shows up. Tired? Meh, your trainer shows up. Car broke down? You get the picture...

ACCOUNTABILITY

If we were all saints, we would all do the things we should whether anyone else was keeping track. But, you know, as lovely as you are, you are probably not a saint. There's no shame here. Just knowing that your trainer is showing up tomorrow will help you make good choices.

PROGRESSION

Gyms that hire cheap and dangerous trainers. To-good-to-be-true fitness schemes that keep people locked in a cycle of boom and bust failure. Mean skinny fitness people. Stories of being injured in box gyms. Relatives having their hopes crushed with quick-fix online weight loss schemes.

In a nutshell, Happy Human is a rebellion against a smarmy fitness industry. An industry that puts profits above the well being of it's clients and customers.

Reason numero uno - We are crazy convenient. Skip the gym. Spend more time with your kids. Let us come to you.

Reason numero dos - Our trainers are really good. We spend a ridiculous amount of time finding the best trainers in the area. Because a really good trainer produces 10x the long-term results of a so-so trainer.

Reason numero tres - We won't give you an icky feeling. We aren't going to judge you. We aren't going to sell you weight loss shakes for crying out loud. We aren't going push you to buy more sessions than your budget allows. We aren't going to require you to sign up 5 of your friends.

Reason numero cuatro - We are a local mom-and-pop shop. Proceeds of your investment in your body go to the trainers and to the owners. Nobody is getting rich off this. **Sigh** We do this for other reasons.
