We have been very fortunate to have moved to the area and to find Happy Hounds to walk our puppy. I have no doubt her mixing with other dogs on their highly social and energetic walks has brought on her behaviour and socialisation skills massively. Emma is simply amazing. Our dog has always been anxious and reluctant to go anywhere new but bounds up to Emma’s door, wagging his tail and doesn’t even give me a second glance when I leave him! She sends lots of professional quality photos and videos whilst he’s with her, and she’s thoughtful and accommodating in all her dealings with owners, in my experience. Rosie loves going out on the pack walks with Emma and gang, she has the time of her life and comes back shattered and sleeps for the rest of the day. I love everything she does on Facebook and Instagram, the best is watching all of the dogs having a blast on Stories. It's just the highlight of my day, waiting for all of the videos to be uploaded. My two pugs have just boarded with Emma for the last two weeks, they have had a wonderful time! Emma collected them (and their rather large bed! ) and they were very excited to go off with her. They are very well cared for with lots of walks, other dogs to play with and plenty of love and cuddles - just like home Emma also sent me regular pictures so I could see just how happy they were. We’re just back from a fabulous 10 day holiday which I was sort of dreading tbh as it’s the first time we have left our gorgeous little puppy. But I had absolutely nothing to worry about as Emma from happy hounds gave him a really fun holiday of his own. Daily pics and videos of his outings all over the midlands with his little doggie pals made us smile everyday. Emma is amazing with Lola and is so good as a lot of the time it’s short notice when I need day care. Lola gets so excited when she arrives and can’t wait to go, she gets to play with all the dogs and has become much better behaved because of having the freedom at day care to play. She went through a phase of not coming when called if she was playing with dogs but now she will come straight away and has no problems getting the lead back on as she gets all her play and energy out on the walk. Gemma is an older dog and I can't always take her out with my hips. She is always so pleased to see Emma in the morning and goes out the front door with her tail wagging and jumps straight into the van. When my dog sitter cancelled 2 days before my wedding, I didn't know what I was going to do. Emma stepped in with no questions asked. She completely put my mind at rest throughout the day, sent me photos and videos of Elsa playing and having the best time. Emma has been having Gemma for daycare and boarding over the last few months, and I can’t speak highly enough of her service. My dog had never been out for proper walks until Emma came along, and now I can see she is truly loving her time out of the house and is always shattered when she is dropped home. Emma has been amazing with our Springer spaniel, Jasper. He is a very anxious dog and is unsure of new people, this made us so nervous to sign him up to a dog walker but we felt he needed more socialising to help him. Emma was so supportive and really eased us and Jasper in. He is becoming so much more confident with new people and is amazing around other dogs now too. Jasper was unsure on the van to start with but Emma took her time getting him used to it and he now jumps straight in! The difference we have seen in Jasper since he started is incredible and we honestly can't thank you enough Emma. Poppy loves going out for walks with Emma - she gets so excited when Emma arrives and doesn’t even give us a second look when she leaves the house ! Emma is truly wonderful! Our French Bulldog has been going to her Doggy Day Care since he was 5 months old and the changes we’ve seen in him have been incredible. He’s confident, well socialised, wonderfully obedient off the lead and always looks so happy (and tired!) after a session with Emma. We couldn’t ask for a better person to look after Roscoe, when we can’t be there for him - he loves her and her doggies! What can I say! My two little pugs stayed with Emma while we were away and didn't want to come home! They were well cared for, loved and treated like her own. Any worry you may have about your dog(s) be looked after by someone else went away the minute I met Emma who is kind and has an obvious affinity with them all. Finding Emma for my Labrador Lola was a dream come true ... she somehow knows when Emma is coming for her & is so excited when she knocks on the door to collect her . .. she loves her long country walks & having the chance to have fun with all the other dogs ... which is not possible where I live... when she comes home she’s straight up the stairs to have a nap for a couple of hours .. think that’s says it all really ... Happy hounds was supposed to temporarily fill a gap for us with dog care with our shifts but Ruby is now a regular as she loves exploring new places and having fun with other dogs.
