It was an absolute pleasure and an education to have Angie & Nigel working on our trees. They were so passionate, caring and knowledgeable but in such an understated way - nothing ‘preachy’! We thoroughly enjoyed their company and hope that when they’re next passing by Polperro, they pop in for a coffee and to check out our wood stacks!Adrian & Sue More...

I'd recommend Angie and Nigel (and Simon) any time. Came round to give us a quote for cutting down an ash tree that had grown to a risky height and position. They were quick to quote, very reasonable and totally professional. Considered the effect on road users near the property as it was in a precarious location, and also wildlife which is totally in keeping with their ethical philosophy - They did the job today and made an excellent job of it - worked so hard without so much as a decent break and managed traffic, stacking the wood for us to use - with meticulous attention to tidying up at the end. Not only that but so friendly and relaxed, it was a pleasure having them do the job. More...

We needed a couple of conifers cut down in our son's garden. Following getting some quotes we asked Happy Habitats to proceed with the work. This was based on cost but also the great communication we had with Angie and Nigel throughout. The work they carried out was great and just what was needed. Angie and Nigel are obviously passionate about the work they do and we would definitely recommend them to anyone wishing some work carried out in their garden. Sharon and Andy More...

Happy Habitats have transformed our sad looking garden into something quite beautiful and we are still beaming at the transformation. They carried out the work in the pouring rain without complaint. They worked exceptionally hard for us and covered a huge amount in a day and everything was left beautifully clean and tidy. Lovely people who have immense passion for their work and nature which is evident from the first meeting. Would definitely hire them again and can highly recommend. More...

What lovely, skilled and knowledgeable people! We had some large conifers damaged by wind/tractors that needed cutting. They were in a difficult position, by the road on one side and our veg patch and greenhouse the other. I did not need to worry though, all handled skillfully, professionally and with a real concern for the environment and eco-systems in the garden. It was so great to meet such ethical and environmentally aware professionals. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Nigel and Angie. Superb. Many thanks More...

It's difficult to find a good garden and tree service, right? Look no further than the team at Happy Habitats. Not only excellent value, but real expertise; honest advice; professional attitude and lovely people. Our problem sycamore right above our decking is a problem no more; perfectly pollarded; healthy and ready for many more seasons. Plus Angie and Nige stacked a load of perfectly trimmed logs that should last us a few winters too. Give them a call; you won't be disappointed! More...

Nigel and Angie are regulars now and the only tree surgeons I’d ask advice from and to come and work here at Pennywort Mill. Why? They are responsive to urgent call outs and go out their way to respond quickly and effectively - from first call to completion was just a couple of hours. For the more routine planned maintenance, they approach the environment with a balanced eco-management mind and advise accordingly. For me, they balance wildlife carefully against practical tree management. Their knowledge of wildlife and habitat is refreshing and impressive. More...
