We love seeing our customers happy! Seeing their visions become reality is an amazing feeling! The surprise on the faces when they see their first quote and finally the finished work sometimes knocks us for six!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Back in 2009, we decided to set up the business...we had 5 young children and didn't want to miss the class assemblies, the parents evenings, watching our sons play football on a Saturday & Sunday morning...
So, Handy Hands was born...we've worked hard and some long hours but it's all been worth it.

From the first phone call through to the final lick of paint, or hammer of a nail, we aim to give you the best quality workmanship around.
Because we are family run, you will always speak to the same person...9 times out of 10 your first contact will be with Vicki who is renowned for her friendly, yet professional manner. Our estimate are always written and a hard copy plus an email is sent...we prefer to give estimates rather than quotes because sometimes things do crop up (or down, depending on which way you look at it) This simply means the price can go up or down but this will be explained to you at the time and you will be kept updated throughout. We'd rather give you worse case scenario and have a nice surprise at the end of the job!
We guarantee that your job will be THE ONLY job being undertaken at that point...if we say we are going to be with you for three days then we will be there for three consecutive days! The ONLY time this doesn't apply is when we are undertaking out door work...this type of work is always weather permitting for obvious reasons.
Your invoice will be provided on the day the work is completed, again, as a hard copy and also as an email.
