Great clinic, professional stuff! Yuri Neuchev is an amazing doctor, Alex Gudov is my go-to massage therapist. Over the years Yuri helped me with many health issues: frozen shoulder, neck problem, back pain, anxiety and depression, head aches, TMJ and bladder problem. He is also helping my kids during different times of their growth, when problems arise, like flat feet, knee pain, scoliosis and growing pain. The best and only place I visit to relieve my lower back issues. Yuri and Alex have been seeing me since past 5 years and are excellent professionals in their trait. I've been suffering with lower back pain and sciatica, and the best relief I've gotten is after visiting Osteopathy. The most interesting thing I find is the difference between Osteopaths and Chiropractors. Osteopaths have worked out better for me. The coolest thing I've experienced here is negative energy releasing - its powerful and very effective. What I appreciate the most is the demeanor of the entire staff, there is a particular positive energy vibe that emanates there. Yuri has the best sense of humor and has without fail always made me laugh on every visit. The level of care and support I receive from all staff at Hands On is phenomenal, it feels like a second home! I've been seeing Dr. Yuri Neuchev for almost 3 years after becoming ill and suffering a back injury, and osteopathy is the only treatment that relieves 80-100% of my pain, immediately, with no side effects! Osteopathy not only treats pain, it treats the cause of the pain by gently manipulating joints back into alignment, easing tension in soft tissue to release pressure on nerves, and pulling apart pesky scar tissue. And that's just what he can do for joint pain! It took 4 MRIs, countless X-rays, over 30 doctors, every kind of narcotic pain medication, and multiple misdiagnoses over 3 years for the "specialists" to diagnose an L5-S1 disc herniation with severe sciatica and arthritis (at age 30 due to frequent fainting), however Dr. Neuchev was able to come to the same conclusion after only two 1-hour sessions and viewing my first spinal MRI at the beginning of my illness, and has been treating me for it the past 3 years as the "specialists" were figuring it out.Using gentle manipulations and stretching, Dr. Neuchev decompresses my spine, releasing pressure between the vertebrae to reduce pain, and also releasing pressure on the sciatic nerve to reduce the red hot nerve pain that shoots down my left leg as a result of a herniated lumbar intervertebral disc in between the L5 and S1 vertebrae. This gives immediate nerve pain relief and increased mobility in my affected hip and leg. Dr. Neuchev also uses this gentle technique on my neck, along with work on pressure points and scar tissue, which reduces the frequency and duration of my migraines, and improves my blood circulation to the rest of my body. As someone who suffers from regular migraines, migraine with aura, and hemiplegic migraines, to see my migraine days per month drop from 25 to 2 without the use of medications is astounding! I have some stubborn scar tissue built up in my neck from an old rugby injury and a degenerative vertebrae, and every week Dr. Neuchev applies pressure in a circular motion, and stretches out all the tight ligaments, tendons and muscles. This keeps my neck flexible, mobile, and dramatically reduces pain. Before I became chronically ill and started seeing Dr. Neuchev, I'd had multiple other injuries and had had several surgeries, all leaving scar tissue that I was unaware of. Laying completely flat on my back was uncomfortable as I'd had 2 pelvic laparoscopy surgeries for endometriosis, and the 5 incision locations had scar tissue. My right wrist also lacked a good range of motion from 2 surgeries to shorten my ulna and repair a ligament. Although a bit painful, Dr. Neuchev worked to gently pull and break apart the scar tissue on both my pelvis and wrist. Since then, my "bad wrist" has better range of motion than the other, and no more pain, and I can lay flat on the floor very comfortably now! It does require a tune up every now and then, but I'm pain free in those locations now! With my illness, I also deal with many stomach / GI issues, and by using visceral osteopathy techniques, Dr. Neuchev can help move food from my stomach to my small intestine, calm my large intestine, and relieve nausea and bloating. I 100% walked (rolled - wheelchair) into my first appointment a complete sceptic. I did not think anything but Western medicine would help me, and I only went to appease my mother. Boy, did he prove me wrong! By the end of the appointment, I realized that my pain was better, and I could move a bit more, and by the end of the second appointment, when I could stand a few seconds unassisted, I knew that osteopathy was going to help me, and I firmly believe it can help everyone if you keep an open mind. Dr. Yuri Neuchev is the man to see if you have ANY type of issue. And the other staff who work there, some who I've had the pleasure of working with, all bring different knowledge and experience into their treatments and practice, and they genuinely just want to help people feel better and live fulfilling lives. I've worked with Krystyna and Alexey have been on great help to me. I came with a frozen shoulder and almost no mobility on my left shoulder and couldn't do pull ups in the gym; I went to several chiro and physiotherapists, all promising me cures but always falling short. The osteopathic therapy with Krystyna and rmt with Alexey has given me extended relief. My problem has been due to years of bad posture and lifting my new born all the time. After an operation 10 years ago, I developed a very painful internal scar. I had two operations to eliminate the scar neither of which was successful as the scar returned. Last year I was once again experiencing severe pain. The specialist recommended booking a more invasive operation with a 6-12 week recovery period to remove the scar once and for all. Given the nonsuccess of the first two operations I was very skeptical that a third operation would help. I was introduced to Yuri at the Hands On Clinic and after my first 45 minute session, the pain disappeared completely. It did return a few days later but eventually disappeared completely after a few sessions scheduled every 2-3 weeks. Eight months later I had an internal exam/test done at Sunnybrook hospital and to the specialist’s surprise the scar had completely disappeared. The surrounding area looked 100% normal which I can confirm from viewing the monitor. An operation was no longer required. Listening to other patients in the Hands On Clinic waiting room, I know that Yuri and his staff can improve and eliminate physical issues in many parts of the body. Massages are incredible here assuming you like deep tissue massages with a lot of pressure.I've never been disappointed! Alexiy is my go to guy as he maps out his massages and uses just the right amount of pressure. I see Yuri for my Osteo treatments. He taught me a lot about my body and pain and educated me on preventative measures and stretches to help alleviate stiffness and pain. I always look forward to my visits as it's always an enjoyable experience. I prefer this to taking who knows how many pills for my pain. My family and I have been Dr. Neuchev's patients for about a year now, and we feel so lucky we found such a caring and knowledgeable professional. Whatever the issue, Dr. Neuchev is able to find effective treatments for anything from herniated disk to sciatica to frozen shoulder, headaches/migraines, muscle or joint pain, nerve issues in the body, inflammation, etc etc etc... I think there is nothing Dr. Neuchev is unable to fix, he is a miracle worker and took on so many complex cases that no other healthcare professional was able to help with. My favourite treatment is visceral osteopathy, I just feel so great after a session. The rest of the team is amazing: very polite and professional, simply the best care one can find in the GTA area.
