I had an incredible 90 minute massage with Stephanie. Very professional and checked to see how the pressure was. Highly recommend getting a massage here, I believe they have 9 female massage therapists and they are open 7 days a week. I did a LOT of research before taking a vacation on Siesta Key to find a top-notch Massage Therapist. My objectives were to find someplace clean, professional, with great therapists that were highly rated and then. .. cross my fingers and hope for the best! You know how getting a "destination massage" can be - you just never know - and often times, you leave disappointed, thinking about how much better your hometown therapist is. Well, in this case, it was quite the opposite. Not only did Hands of Light check off my "boxes" of requirements easily when we showed up, but Shannon gave me what was probably THE best massage I've ever had in my life (and this is coming from someone who's been getting massages, roughly every other month, for 14 years)! She's a highly-skilled veteran with top-notch technique, and great pressure. In fact, we've booked another vaca to Siesta Key in 2020 and I've already got a note down to re-book with Shannon again. I had the most phenomenal deep tissue massage from Julie yesterday, the best in the past 40 years of getting massages. She taught me proper breathing technique for optimum relaxation during the massage and for every day life. She has magic fingers and a warm caring touch. When I complemented her she described her approach as “gentle deep” where she gets the client to relax the layers of the body to accept and enjoy the deep tissue massage. Hands of Light is a clean, quiet, and peaceful place in the beautiful Siesta Key Village. I felt at ease and relaxed as soon as I walked in. The waiting area is adorned with beautiful beach decorations. I worked with Julie and am so, so thankful I was able to do so! Julie took the time to get to know me prior to the massage. She is personal and welcomed me into the space. The massage itself was exactly what I needed after a very busy season at work. Julie made me feel so relaxed and I left Hands of Light feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I enjoyed speaking with Julie and Bev (owner) after the massage. My wife and I visited Hands of Light Massage today and were very happy with the quality of the massage from Shannon and Renee. I highly recommend this place and you will not be disappointed. We have had our share of bad and good massages over the years at different places and this by far is one of the best ones we have had. I had a massage with Julie while I was on a solo vacation to Sarasota/Siesta Key. Julie was absolutely amazing! I was in complete la la land. She applied the right amount of pressure and worked on my neck the way no one ever has before. I have had many massages where therapists will hurt my neck, but she knew all the right places to work that released tension without pain. I am so thankful to Julie for her service, her spirit was so calm and I was able to truly relax! If you need someone who can work on you and make you feel SO good the next day, she’s your girl! After an unexpected 11 hour traffic filled drive to Siesta Key at the end of January every muscle in my body was upset with me! Fortunately I found Julie at Hands of Light Massage in the Village. The facilities are welcoming and the service was just what I needed...so much so that I have increased to 90 minute massages every two weeks of our two months stay here. I highly recommend Julie...magic hands that helped with both IT Band issues and neck/shoulder pain. My Matron of Honor and I were down in Siesta Key last weekend. We went to Hands of Light Massage Therapy Sunday morning and it was AH-MAZ-ING! We loved every second of it!
