My son started in the Lil Dragons class at the beginning of the year, he's now in the Children's class and absolutely loves it! It's a really fun class that teaches a range of important skills such as concentration!The instructors are all fantastic, very friendly and know how to engage the children and make them feel comfortable even when they're a little shy. My 4 year old son is enrolled in the Lil' Dragons class in Epsom. He's not always the most cooperative team-player or proponent of the martial arts, but the staff are extremely kind and patient with him and gently encourage him to engage in the class and have fun in the group activities, and his positive participation and enthusiasm in the class have been wonderful to behold.

All three of my children (13,11 & 8) train here and have studied Freestyle kickboxing since the age of four. The instructors here are friendly, professional and the non intimidating atmosphere makes all feel welcome. The experience and ages of the instructors ranges greatly which means that all needs and learning styles are catered for. I can’t recommend this club highly enough if you want your child to increase in self confidence, learn discipline or learn how to defend themselves- Hands Down is where you should be. Can't praise this club enough. Our son joined just turned 4 into their Little Dragons programme and has thrived from it. He graduated from little dragons at 6 and then joined the kids programme and has just gone from strength to strength. He's small from his age but has learned that size doesn't matter. He's 7 now and 1 belt away from graduating to juniors. Getting awarded star Epsom student 2018 from the one and only MVP Dec 18 made his day. The instructors are all fantastic role models and really support all of their kids. We moved away from Surrey Sep 17 down to the South Coast but have chosen to keep him at Hands Down Epsom as we couldn't find a club anywhere near as good down here. Such knowledgeable staff and instructors. Great with the kids and really know how to keep them engaged whilst teaching some effective martial arts. Really loved the fact that they had a cage fighter there who I would not have know about if one of the parents had not had mentioned. Such a welcoming atmosphere. Everyone seemed friendly and very helpful. I keep hearing about their amazing childrens courses which are not just about kicking and punching but things like home, street and general awareness. Great concept to teach kids not just about fighting but the day to dangers around the house and on road. Simple things like crossing the road or stranger awareness. Not drinking the colourful liquid in the bottle under the sink. I believe they also have a few world champion kickboxers in their adults programme! More...
