Um. People are for sure SLEEPING on this place!!!! First off, the lunch shrimp hibachi is $9.50, you get all of this PLUS a freakin' salad and soup--no way you CAN'T give that steal of a deal 5 stars. If you're in the Asheville area and craving some sushi.. THIS is the place! The staff was very friendly and attentive. I love the location of the restaurant and the ambiance is so relaxing! I ordered two of the classic sushi rolls, the shrimp tempura and the Philadelphia roll! Both super delicious and just enough to eat before bar hopping in Asheville! went there monday for the dollar sake and 10% off locals, very neat inside with cool lights. sushi was very delicious and came out fast our server kai was very nice and attentive, nothing was bad ab dinner 10/10 would recommend to everyone who loves great service and great food.

Our server was Mache.. she was just wonderful! I came in with a broken shoe and asked it she had super glue.. she had nail glue in her pocket! Lol. The Strawberry flavored Sake was great and so was the edemame, onion soup, California Roll, Shrimp Tempura roll. Highly recommend! More...

Their sign outside the restaurant mentioned a Monkey Ball and Shrimp Dynamite roll which caught our attention and why we went inside. It was nice inside with dim lighting so it was relaxing. We sat by the sushi bar. Our waitress was attentive and made sure we were good. My husband and I both ordered the Hana punch which had different kinds of rum; it was very yummy and we both enjoyed it. We shared the Monkey Ball and Shrimp Dynamite roll. Great options if you are vegan and want a few simple vegetable rolls and a stir fry. Our server was kind enough to answer our many questions regarding ingredients used in the broth and sauces confirming that they were indeed vegan and didn't contain fish sauce. The overall atmosphere was decent but I'm a bit of a stickler for attention to detail and found it off putting that they didn't pay the extra few bucks to have commercial free streaming music which cheapened the experience a bit. It would be ok if this place was a quick bite and or take out type of deal but no one wants to be in the middle of a dinner conversation with friends and be blasted every 20 minutes or so by geo targeted ads. One last thing to get off my chest...their tea presentation... it's served in a Denny's type of coffee mug, not the traditional small tea pot that is typical of many sushi places. More...

Amazing food! We were the only customers in there, but I don’t understand why! Visited from out of town, so I can’t say if it’s the best in town, but better than any Japanese in my area.
