We chose HALO Restoration to replace our roof after a terrible hail storm. Fortunately for us, HALO was able to handle all of our damages beyond just the roof (gutters/screens/mailbox,etc. ). Chris (HALO) was very articulate, organized, and understanding of our concerns.
He explained the difference in roofing materials, reviewed the entire roofing process and what we should expect. He reviewed the timelines and various milestones. Once we signed the contract, he took control and kept us up to date throughout the project. We were also impressed by the work crews. They were clean, efficient, and did an excellent job. Chris personally checked on the work the crew was doing and followed up with us when the job was done to assure our satisfaction. During the work on our house, the crew was respectful of our pool and landscape doing a good job of picking up after themselves. Also Chris came out during installation to make sure everything was going as planned and that I was happy with the service. I just wanted to share my experience with Halo Storm restoration. If anyone hasn’t had their roof replaced yet, the one-year storm deadline is approaching, and they will come take a look at your roof for free. The owner we dealt with directly, Stephen Dacus, lives here in Waterview and is also a firefighter and father of two. He made us feel like we were old friends and really treated us like family, going over and above to make sure our needs were met without having to pay a dime out of pocket, which was really important to us. Even with our deductible from the insurance agency, everything was covered 100%. We got a free roof, free vents, free fence pressure washing and staining, and he is working on a new front door for us! He was professional and friendly, taking the time to explain things every step of the way and work around our busy schedules. The workers were fast and efficient -- the roof was complete within 2 days -- and none of the workers needed to set foot in our home for any reason, so we weren’t inconvenienced. He personally did a property walk after the roof was complete to make sure everything was very clean and no debris, including a specialized system for getting all the nails out of the grass, which was important to us because we have little kids and the neighbors’ pets in our lawn often. I’m sure there are many good roofing companies out there, but this guy was really great, pleasant and professional, not just with us but with the insurance adjuster and everyone. Most of all, we knew we could trust him and that he wasn’t cutting corners or overcharging. He had our best interests at heart. I would highly recommend Halo roofing. They were very professional and our roof was done in a timely fashion. The were very happy to oblige us when we requested little things like an extra layer of stain on our fence. They were great about cleaning up and they were very mindful of our artificial turf in our backyard and took measures to protect it and to protect our patio furniture. When a little stained dripped on the concrete they promptly cleaned it when we asked and I think it actually looks better than before. We appreciated their hard work and our roof looks amazing. We hired Halo to do our storm restoration after the Spring Hail storm that hit North Texas, We live in Lantana. From the moment Halo came to our house to do an inspection they came off as more professional than any of the other companies who assessed the damage. From the moment we hired them they were ready to work and within a few days we were scheduled for our work once we were ready to start.
