My son is so inspired by Martin's lessons. Martin has advanced Toby's skills and talent so massively and within a year taken Toby from a kid who is quite interested in drumming to a kid who lives and breathes drumming. Toby has grown in confidence because he can pick up a pair of drum sticks and be the 'drummer in the band' ... how cool for a 13 year old. More...

Tried drumming as a young adult, was blown away by Martins skill, patience, education techniques, facilities etc etc. A complete professional and an asset to Halifax. Spent 3-4 years with him only stopping due to the birth of my son and obvious time constraints. Will be taking my boy to Martin for lessons as soon as he's old enough. Learnt so much in my time at the Halifax Drum School. Played in heavy metal bands, punk bands, hip hop, wedding bands and a brief dabble with musical theatre all thanks to the skills I learnt. When I attended a 3 day drum camp with the world renowned Thomas Lang I learnt relatively nothing as every subject, technique etc that was covered I'd previously covered with Martin. True professional, can't recommend enough. Surely the countries leading drum school? More...

Just started lessons earlier this year, it’s something I’ve always wanted to do! Halifax drum school is fabulous. I’m slowly learning to read music and really enjoying my lessons. Martin is an excellent tutor, the pace and structure of each lesson is designed to teach you the very basics needed whilst progressing to address your level of experience and taste in music.
