Words cannot describe how wonderful the team at Halfpenny London are. I discovered Kate's dresses when shopping at one of their stockists and then came in to the London flagship to meet with with the lady herself. Over several meetings I think I must have tried on 15 or so dresses, all of which I would have happily got married in. But then I found THE ONE. It is a total cliche to say but when you know, you know. Needless to say the process was NOT straight forward from then, and there was a lot of backwards and forwards on my part about bespoke options, alterations, even potential Mother of the Bride dresses too... etc etc. All of which was handled with ease and professionalism by Kate, Marilynne and the wider team. The final result was a timeless, yet modern dress that reflected my individualism and style. I got married in South Africa, so wanted to champion a brilliant British brand and EVERYONE at the wedding commented on how exquisite it was. So job done. The most glorious, excellent wonderful place to get your wedding dress. Everyone there is passionate, hugely knowledgable and very friendly. I completely trusted every single person that I spoke to and dealt with and they made me look and feel utterly gorgeous. It's already been months since our wedding, but the magic of the day is still fresh... and my dress was nothing short of magical too! Mine was a custom Halfpenny gown, being an illustrator I had sketched what I wanted and then worked super closely with the incredible Kate to choose fabrics from their beautiful range, make tweaks and alterations so that the sketch could come to life and fit me perfectly... I had such a wonderful experience at Halfpenny London. The staff couldn't do enough to guide me in finding the perfect style dresses to suite my figure. I knew I loved all the designs but I'm by no means a model size and they had samples in bigger sizes which was brilliant. I will definately be ordering my wedding dress in the new year from there.
