In August of this year, Rudi Halbright and his assistants did the photography for my daughter's wedding in Half Moon Bay, CA. They were not only exceptional at taking the traditional "must have" photos, but were also innovative with staging extremely interesting and unique situation poses. During the reception, Rudi and his assistant blended into the party while capturing moments that were truly emotional and genuine; the essence of the event....people being themselves. Rudi did a great job photographing our wedding, and we've referred other friends to him (he did a great job at theirs too). He has a real eye  for capturing the more formal moments (he got an amzing wide angle shot of the chapel that captured the altar, the full audience, and the architecture), as well as the playful moments (fantastic shots of fun moments on the dance floor). Cool working with people from diverse backgrounds -- Jewish, pagan-ish atheist lesbians, Indian...Ordering from his website was a little clunky and getting prints took some time, but on the most important parts of the process -- getting great shots, being professional -- he gets things right. Rudi did an excellent job and covered our entire ceremony, the pre-ceremony guest reception, and the post-ceremony guest reception. He put together a wonderful selection of posed and candid photos, and afterwards, created a touching website for us and our guests to chose and purchase our favorite shots. Rudi Halbright is passionate about his work as a photographer and you can see this passion in the photographs he takes.  Before he shot our wedding, I was able to see samples of other weddings and events in his portfolio.  Although I didn't know any of the subjects in the shots, I felt a connection to them and to their special event because of Rudi's ability to capture their emotions so sweetly.  I was also impressed that he works with clients from a variety of cultural backgrounds and clearly loves this diversity.  We love the shots he took at our wedding and feel proud to display them in our home.
