Magnifique endroit qui pourrait être parfait avec un service plus soutenu surtout au bar (on peut attendre la soirée, personne ne vient vers vous pour les commandes) et de l'eau chaude dans les chambres.

Hotel piękny !!! Urokliwe miejsce otoczone zielenią. Każdego dnia wymieniana pościel. Kilku ogrodników codziennie od wczesnych godzin rannych dba o cudowne ogrody przycinając zbędne pędy, odrywając uschłe liście palm i zagrabiając cały teren łącznie z przyległą plażą. Każdego dnia około godz. 10:30 stado małp przechodzi przez teren basenu hotelowego(dużego i głębokiego), a zdarza się, że inna grupa tych zwierząt biega sobie po całym hotelu dając wszystkim mnóstwo radości. Jedzenie pyszne! Przeważają warzywa przyprawiane na wiele sposobów. Na śniadania polecam min. omlet w wykonaniu Leah - jest świetny. Podawane są frytki, opiekane ziemniaczane talarki, makaron, ryż i ziemniaki gotowane na wiele sposobów. Niemal każdego dnia na stole pojawia się kurczak i ośmiornice, a także ryba - każdy znajdzie tutaj coś dla siebie. W barze serwowane są wszelakie drinki i dwa gatunki piwa. Jeśli dwa to dla kogoś zbyt mało można dolać odrobinę pikantnego napoju Tanga Wizzy i smaczek nam się zmienia. Barman Jousuf zna się na swojej robocie i potrafi zadbać o polskiego turystę ;) Hotel chroniony jest całodobowo przez grupę Masajów, którzy dla bezpieczeństwa gości śpią pod gołym niebem na wydmach od strony plaży. Mysz się nie przeciśnie. Reszta hotelu jest odgrodzona, a przy bramie 24/24 czuwają Masajowie otwierający wrota jedynie gościom, zaopatrzeniu i wezwanym na teren busom i taksówkom. Jest naprawdę bezpiecznie, a to przecież najważniejsze. Największym jednak plusem tego hotelu są pracujący tam ludzie. Są niezwykle uprzejmi i sympatyczni, a zarazem profesjonalni. To Oni sprawili, że kolejny nasz wyjazd urlopowy planujemy właśnie do Hakuna Majiwe w Paje - Zanzibar !!! More...

We spent 10 wonderful days at Hakuna Majiwe. The rooms are big and clean, the terrace relaxing, the food delicious and the beach in front of the hotel is one of the most beautiful I've seen. Moreover: the employees were so friendly there, we really didn't want to leave. Recommended! More...

This Hotel is the perfect place to stay, when you're looking for relaxation, amazing beaches, delicious food and an extraordinary service.
From our arrival till our last day the service was perfect, the staff was incredibly friendly and even helped us to learn their language :)
Breakfast and dinner (we booked half board) was really delicious and they offered a wide range of different types of food.
We especially fell in love with the fresh juices and the Octopus at Hakuna Majiwe, so when you plan to stay there, try it :D
Our room was cleaned 2-3 times a day (depending on how sandy it was haha) and the staff always tried to make some special arrangements with flowers and towels

A wonderful stay in Hakuna Majiwe. The small and intimate hotel with a great informal atmosphere. This is a hotel for people looking for a rest in free and nearly family atmosphere, expecting no morning battles for deckchairs and almost empty beach.
Probably not for people who have to go to dinner in evening outfits. Only 11 or 12 bungalows surrounded by beautiful vegetation, all with ocean views. Nowhere crowd, beach chairs far away from each other. You can really relax. Bright and fine as flour sand and wide beach. The whole is very similar to hotels in the Maldives, which was an additional benefit for me. In practice, even flip-flops are not needed.
The cottages are modestly furnished, the bathrooms a bit tired but this is not Europe or luxury hotels on the mentioned Maldives. This, moreover, does not concern only this hotel but also other hotels in Zanzibar or Kenya as well. But it's clean, every day cleaned up.
The choice of food is quite limited, but what is important everything is good and fresh. Very good soups. Almost every day calamari or octopus is also available, for me great. Delicious fruits, juices. A little worse with drinks as part of the all inclusive offer. A fairly limited choice and often under the day's end, wine or cocacola albi other ingredients. But this little thing with no impact for overall high assessment.
The hotel staff are its very strong advantage. Everyone very warmly, helpful. Even unusual requests are not a problem. It creates a really nice and almost family atmosphere. I'm sure I will not forget my birthday - songs, birthday wishes, birthday cake I got! Thank you all again!
The hotel is less than 2 km from the village of Paje, which invites you to walk along the beautiful beach. Kite schools, diving center some local pubs or even restaurants are very close.
This is my second stay in Zanzibar, previously 2 years ago at the Karaffuu Beach Resort, now in Hakuna Majiwe. Both successful. Although the first hotel offers a higher standard, I prefer Hakuna Majiwe. If I would visit Zanzibar again in the next two years, I will probably come to Hakuna Majiwe again. I recommend this hotel with all my heart.
