I was faced with an unusual tax filing problem for tax year 2017 and needed to find an extremely qualified accountant to file my tax returns. I tried a few places and they were either booked or told me I would owe thousands in taxes. I did not believe them and trusted my instincts. I went to the internet and found Al Amir with many five star reviews close by and called him. He did not hesitate to spend a lot of time with me during my initial phone call to determine if he could help me. I was totally stunned that he was able to take my filings on during the most busy time of the tax season. I found that I was able to trust him immediately. He was self assured, kind, a total gentleman, extremely knowledgeable and new exactly what to do. I did not hesitate to ask him to prepare and file my tax returns. What followed turned out to be a rather long process over several weeks involving an extension and contact with another accountant to resolve several issues. Where others had told me that I would owe thousands in taxes, Al Amir explained to me why I would owe no taxes. He worked very hard and efficiently for me and got the job done so I could get this huge to do item off my list and move on with my life. I highly recommend Al Amir. Back in March of 2018 I spoke with Al Amir about 3 times to discuss what I needed as my 2017 tax situation was very complex. I chose to go directly to a CPA firm as I wanted to get guidance on several financial questions which required more than just plugging in numbers on a tax form from my w-2's.Although I can prepare taxes on my own, I knew this was not the year to try to figure out all I had going on without making a mistake.
