Hi , I am the owner of Hair of the dog Woodley , I have come on here to say that it has NOT changed management , I have owned the business for 19 years now , and also to say that we have no record of 2 of the customers who have left bad reviews on here, we would never ruin a dog’s skin or coat . Would recommend the Team at Hair of the Dog to anyone! The friendliness of the staff and knowing that your furkid is going to be left in good hands is always reassuring. Not only do they take on board your requests for the desired result, they also always have a host of hints and tips about animal husbandry which, whilst not a vet view on things, is always good to learn from. Recently, our dog needed a medicated shampoo treatment and they were more than happy to do the weekly treatment whilst he was booked in with them. The dogs there always seem happy with the staff too! For us it is lovely to have such an amazing groomer so close to home. Keep doing what you are doing guys!! It is much appreciated!! More...

I have never owned a dog before who has to go to a groomers. Bertie is a Golden Doodle and will need to be trimmed and clipped when he is a little bit older. He has just had his 2nd shampoo and blow dry and obviously had a great time. He looks so gorgeous and fluffy and is booked in for his next pamper in 6 weeks time. More...

I am very happy with service here and feel my dog gets well looked after. The cut is good and will keep using Hair of the Dog.
No complaints at all, cant say my dog likes it but he wouldn't like it anywhere but this is the best groomers I have found.

I have a young and very mad springer spaniel who had gotten VERY muddy and smelly on his recent runs in the field. I had tried to bath him myself with little success. He has just come back from his first ever visit to a dog groomers, Hair Of The Dog and I am seriously impressed. They have done a wonderful job. He is clean, smells lovely and has been clipped so that he should be so much easier to clean up after his next run in the field. I had reservations about whether he would actually let them do much to him but apparently he was well behaved. I will definitely be using Hair Of The Dog again. Would thoroughly recommend. More...
