Hains and Lewis

In the past I have used two very capable ladies for conveyancing Nicola and Gayle.
This time I used Ben Tuck, with later dealings with Chris Taylor. What a complete disaster. The final bill was 650% over the quote. They are rude,unbelievably arrogant and their attention to detail is truly appalling. My original complaints were largely ignored. My final written complaints were only partially answered and treated with huge distain. I received papers for another client, even the reply to my complaint was addressed to someone else and mentioned correspondence from 2028 !!
It is such a shame when the two ladies mentioned were excellent but the other two, in my opinion have completely trashed any reputation that Hains and Lewis had in my eyes.
Steer very clear is my advise as there are other law firms not so totally embedded in the old ways that are simply not acceptable today. More...

I would highly recommend Hains & Lewis, In particular the conveyancing department. Gayle has handled multiple sales and purchases over the years with excellent professionalism.

I would highly recommend this firm and personally Chris Taylor. I used this firm for a range of services and each service provided has been dealt with fast, efficiently and reasonably priced. Chris Taylor has been excellent and is a very strong and highly recommended solicitor. He was recommended to me by a friend, I have used previous solicitors in the past and none match up to Chris. He has a fire burning passion and enjoys a challenge, he is fiesty and firm when acting on your behalf and will go above and beyond for you. I will continue to use Chris when needed and will recommend him to others. I wouldn't go anywhere else now. He made a very stressful process as smooth and reassuring as possible.
