I found Hailey on IG before I got engaged. I fell in love with it right away. I thought, if I ever get engaged, I need to remember this photographer! Fast forward to a year later after my now fiance proposed, and all of my recently married friends were throwing me recommendations and links to photographers they used at their engagements and weddings. I definitely checked out a few other photographers, but I kept coming back to Hailey's IG page. Her ability to capture the beauty of the scenery in addition to a couple's adventurous spirit was exactly what I was looking for. I reached out to Hailey, and she responded right away. She was super easy to talk to and to book with. I requested a shoot somewhere with an epic view, so Hailey met us at a trailhead and carried her camera and gear up a super steep mountain in her backpack! NOT a small feat! Before this, my fiance and I had kind of a stressful day leading up to the shoot - we were running late, and things kept going wrong. But once we met up with Hailey she put up completely at ease. She is super chill and fun to be around, and she made us both feel comfortable. We had a lot of fun hanging out with her and being models!! (Hailey girl I really do hope we can actually go on a hike for fun when I'm up in Sedona over the summer!!!!). The turnaround time for the photos was REALLY fast, and when I opened the gallery she sent me, DAYYUUUMMMM. I literally could not find a shot I didn't like. The pictures are epic and they capture my and my fiance's spirit. I also somehow look like a graceful princess in every shot when in reality I was wobbling around trying to to fall over in heels on top of a mountain. Well done H. Well done. I had booked a photographer months in advance who "forgot" our session and was out of town during the time we had planned for our maternity pictures. Only in Sedona for two days we randomly found Hailey who was very quick to respond. She answered any of our questions immediately and was able to book us a very last minute appointment. She knew some amazing spots to shoot, was punctual to meet us, incredibly friendly which made us feel comfortable, and she even sent us a gallery of all our shots so quickly! Hailey captured our surprise-proposal photos and without hesitation we hired her for our engagement photos and wedding as well! She was genuinely as excited for us each step of the way as we were and became a friend throughout the whole process. She was always available if I wanted to run an idea past her and casually guided us through sessions making us feel comfortable and natural along the way. She was also very prepared and professional for the wedding, having provided us with a detailed timeline for the day and arriving at the location early to scout out portrait locations. We were SO ecstatic when we received our photo gallery only a few weeks after the wedding. Even though our wedding was a little more traditional and little less adventurous than many in her portfolio, she still brought her artistic eye and flair and so beautifully captured our day and all the details and emotions it contained. The gallery as a whole almost reads like a story, which was exactly what we wanted. We relive it over and over again through Hailey’s photos. We truly cannot speak highly enough of Hailey! We initially booked Hailey for a photo-session-turned-proposal in Flagstaff after seeing her AMAZING Instagram feed. We considered photography one of our top 3 priorities for our wedding, and although we knew we could hire any photographer, without hesitation we chose Hailey again. She's quick to respond, happy to give us her time, easy to coordinate with, and made me feel like no request or idea for either our surprise-proposal or engagement sessions were "too much to ask."
