Overall, habitual fitness is a great gym that I would highly recommend. I’ve worked with many trainers in the past, and they can really be hit or miss. At habitual, I worked with Personal Trainer Ziad and was not disappointed. Ziad is professional and takes his work very seriously. He is extremely attentive throughout the session, which definitely makes you feel like you’re getting your money’s worth. He is also highly knowledgeable and really takes the time to explain why he chooses the exercises he does for your body, and what the benefits are. As someone who is not new to fitness, I was still able to learn so much from Ziad. If you’re in the market for a trainer, ask for him-you won’t regret it! More...

I can't recommend this gym enough! I originally signed up for personal training to get in shape for my wedding and saw incredible results. I trained with Bev and she took the time to teach me how to safely lift weights and increase my strength and mobility with a program tailored to my personal needs and goals. I lost so many inches on my waist, built muscle and toned in just a few months and completely changed my lifestyle. I also signed up for the bootcamp sessions and it complimented my personal training perfectly. I only intended on doing the personal training until the wedding but I have continued going to Habitual regularly because of the amazing results and great atmosphere. The staff are all great, including Silvio who is a pleasure to work with and very responsive. He can work within your budget and help you find a plan that's perfect for you. This gym is great with multifunctional equipment and many different options depending on your training styles. People are very friendly and gym is very clean. I had one of the opportunities to get some personal training done with Ziad El Dani. Best experience I’ve had with a trainer. He got me to the exact body type I wanted. He also was able to get me to understand how my body moves and functions best. For me that has been a huge mile stone considering I’ve come from a background of injuries. Habitual Fitness is a second home! This gym offers more than just fitness equipment. It is a whole community of dedicated trainers and friendly members that constantly encourage you. This atmosphere promotes both physical and mental wellness. It's a true Zen Zone.I've trained with Jonathan Punzalan, and thank him so much for getting me to a point where I feel athletic and lean. His style of training is very sporty/athletic, and you're constantly being challenged with creative workouts. Everyday is a new day, and you're always being pushed to the next level. You end up surprising yourself!I'm now training with Adam Trabulsi, and thank him so much for further enhancing my fitness journey and giving me the confidence to workout and lift weights alone. I feel stronger, leaner, and more aware of what I'm doing. He is extremely attentive to your form, and makes training become a lifestyle. A coworker recommended Habitual about 18 months ago, and this place has changed my health and lifestyle completely. After about an hour of conversation with head trainer Adam, he had clearly outlined a path for how I needed to progress towards my new fitness goals - and he was spot on with his assessment! Adam was very clear with his suggestions, and he never pressured me into a ‘sale’. On day one it was clear that Adam has built a gym that concentrates on people and fitness, and not on sales or ‘hitting monthly quotas’ like other gyms I’ve experienced. Adam suggested that I start working with Ziad, twice a week. I have worked with many trainers in the past; I’ve had the pleasure of being trained by award winning trainers and fitness instructors across Canada. However, I was lacking confidence and independence in the gym, and I didn’t know how to progress my work load to reach my new goals and work around my scoliosis. Ziad is, by far, the best trainer I have ever worked with. He is enthusiastic, extremely intelligent, passionate, and an outstanding communicator. He is kind, understanding, but also knows how to challenge you and push you to new levels. Ziad is a genuine and amazing person; he really cares about his clients and is constantly learning more and furthering his education - it’s actually inspiring and contagious to work with someone who is so passionate about their career path. I think what really sets Ziad apart is that he concentrates on truly making your training personal; he really spends a lot of time listening deeply to his clients needs, goals, and lifestyle and creates a clear plan where he supports you integrating these changes into your life to get where you want to be. I honestly can’t say enough about this man - he has literally changed my life. Over the past 18 months, Ziad has been able to unleash something inside me that has finally shown me what my body is capable of. I have been going to this gym since day one for more than 10 years, it is my second home, great trainers and very good boot camps. Adam is an amazing trainer, his passion for his job is amazing to watch, he does not go for money he is committed to seeing results and he will go an extra mile and give his own time to make that happen, he will always follow up and also send your workout by email with details and with a demo video, very easy to follow and he is never busy for you always correct you and guide you, once you become a Clint of this gym you become a Clint for lifetime -Thank you for amazing job, please keep it up, I highly recommend this gym. I had a great experience training at Habitual Fitness with personal trainer, Ziad. I had never regularly gone to a gym or established a sound workout regime. I came to Ziad without knowledge of exercises, gym equipment and in a poor physical shape, generally. Over the course of our sessions together, Ziad worked with me to develop the necessary building blocks in my knowledge and abilities to be more confident in navigating the gym and determining my exercises. Ziad is knowledgeable and passionate about training and is readily able to answer questions and share his experiences. In addition, he genuinely cares about his clients, always being sure to manage discomfort, injuries or personal preferences. Ziad’s approach to training and teaching is straightforward, approachable and adaptable to his clients’ needs. Don’t know where to start? Start HERE. I have completed the Women Who Lift: Intro program and it was the best investment for myself, and it will be for you too. Maida is an amazing trainer who knows the ins and outs of weight lifting and will teach you the fundamentals you need to continue in your journey. The small group setting is perfect as it gives Maida enough time to focus on each person individually while teaching the whole class. The best thing I did for myself this year was work with Ziad El Dani. I myself, am a group fitness trainer. Working out and exercise is far from new for me. However, Ziad introduced a new approach to resistance training that has completely changed my workouts for the better. We didn't just run through a program like many trainers are guilty of, we discussed individual specific goals and established the reason and the "why" for what we were doing. Every exercise served a purpose, every rep counted and remaining accountable for my workouts was a no brainer. Ziad ensured that everything was measured, workouts were tracked and communication remained open using TrueCoach.I consider my time with Ziad an investment with a lifetime return. Not only did my time with Ziad improve my own workouts but as a fitness professional I have been able to apply my learnings from him in my own classes. All in all, I highly recommend working with Ziad for one on one personal training sessions. Heard about Habitual Fitness from a friend, tried out their 7 day free trial - all access pass which was a great offer as they allow you to try out all of their services. (Classes and Gym Use) Halfway through my trial I received an email from the General Manager, Silvio, he emailed to see how I was liking the gym so far and asked if I had any further questions from him.. Great customer service, he really went above and beyond to make sure that my time at Habitual was enjoyable. I have never had this personable experience at any other gym I have joined, so it really just makes you feel as if you are apart of the Habitual Fitness family. This is ultimately what had convinced me to join Habitual officially. Other than the great staff, space is really functionable and gym is not as busy at peak times which is ideal!No complaints for Habitual Fitness, I really recommend this gym if you are looking for a change. I was recommended by a friend to check out Habitual @Mississauga and I have not been disappointed. The staff is friendly, helpful and signing up took nothing more than a few minutes. The sign up process is simple and fast! Gotta love that! Silvio/Connor - awesome people. Even though it's not a large gym like the YMCA or Goodlife - they still took time to show me around, talked about the facility and what they are looking forward to do in the future which is a little thing, but important to me. Silvio met me once, never forgot my name! lol. They take time to know there people. Good gym, for me, exactly what I was looking for. Great trainers, excellent community. The bootcamp classes provide a team environment that's very motivating and the trainers actually focus on each member to ensure proper execution so you get the most out of your workout and don't hurt yourself. Highly recommend this gym to everyone! It's a great place to come and workout as the staff is super friendly and helpful. They offer an array of classes and programs which will cater to anyone's fitness and lifestyle needs . From boot camps to mobility to strength training for women they have many ways in which a person can carry forth their fitness goals.I also highly suggest that people check out the health and wellness facilities. The team offers great physio, massage therapy and chiro services. I have had the opportunity to try all three. Rabih, their physio therapist, has helped me with a few of my problem areas and I can say that the experience has been so positive. He is very attentive to your needs. He is one of the best in his field. I'm also grateful for Silvio who has help to fit me in a couple of times and provided excellent customer service. No matter what he accessed the schedule and called me back almost immediately. Paulo, the massage therapist, also played a huge part in my fitness recovery. He helps to target those problem areas and is very friendly and facilitates the appropriate treatment to your needs. Adam, the chiropractor, has changed my perception about chiro treatments. I'm not going to lie but this was another great option that was highly recommended by Silvio as well. The gym also provides orthotics which I have also had major impact in healing an old ankle injury. I recently just finished the Intro to Women Who Lift course with Maida Comic and I am extremely pleased with my results. Not only does Maida push you to succeed and works with you towards your goals, she also understands what best for YOU. While having her train me she understood my limits and where I currently stood in terms of my physical fitness. I had no idea my form was not proper until she showed me what I had been doing which was causing strain on my body. I also learnt what I should be consuming while working out. She made me comfortable in my own skin and made me enjoy working out without the pressure I once put on myself or self consciousness I felt walking into the gym.I would highly recommend all women take this course no matter what level they are currently at. Habitual fitness is a great gym! All of the trainers are amazing and knowledgeable. The General Manager Silvio is honestly so great! Habitual Fitness & Lifestyle has been a lot of help with me. I had injured my right knee at work and was told I needed to do Physio. I started back in Feb. and experienced amazing help from Silvio. He assisted me with signing me up and giving me all the information that I needed. Before starting physio with Rabih I was having a lot of issues walking, standing and sitting. Since then I have been able to stand, walk, sit and even do a light jog.Rabih has been amazing with me, he has worked on my injured knee to get me back to work as soon as possible. He pushed me to the limit to benefit me in the end. I have been at work now for 2 weeks and I feel great! I highly recommend Habitual if you need any sort of help, whether it's an injury and if you are looking to feel healthier in your life.You feel at home and not a gym thank you for everything Habitual! I signed up for the Women Who Lift program with Maida and I have to say I am so glad I did. It was so worth it!! I never knew I could ever even think about lifting weights because I was always scared but this class taught me the techniques I needed to continue lifting weights. Maida is an amazing instructor she explains everything in detail and even discusses nutrition a bit which helps a lot. I've been a member at Habitual for about 2 years and cannot rave enough about everything here.First - Silvio, the GM, is amazing! He was my first point of contact and has always been incredibly helpful with anything I've needed. Second - Ziad for personal training. Wow. Ziad has totally changed my overlook on training and I truly enjoy working with him. He's efficient, extremely knowledgeable and he makes training enjoyable. He is always available to answer questions (literally, 24/7) and provide great feedback.Third - the clinic - I have received treatments from Paulo (RMT) and Rabih (Physio) and I won't go anywhere else. They are both so knowledgeable and provide excellent service!Oh, and can't forget the front desk staff - always a friendly greeting, even at 6am!If you're looking for a super friendly gym experience, Habitual is the right spot for you. I was referred to Habitual Fitness a month ago by a college of mine and originally came in to sigh up for their gym services. I was greeted by Silvio who was extremely helpful and pleasant. From asking a bit more about why I came into the gym and to my surprise he suggested the services of their physiotherapist. He high recommended I gave them a try. I was a little reluctant as I have seen many physio trainers in the past to help with my L5 S1 Disk bulge that I have had for over 10 years. I was even suggested from my last MRI and by my doctor to see someone about the potential of surgery to fix my problem as I have recently re-tore my disk again last year badly and have been in pain ever since. Within 4 weeks of seeing Rabih (the physiotherapist) I feel like the old me again. He is a God send and is hands down the best physio I have ever had. I strongly recommend anyone suffering from back pain/body pain to see Rabih and the team at Habitual as I am sure you will be an impressed as I was. I have just completed the Women Who Lift intro to weightlifting course and I loved it! I was already familiar with weightlifting prior to starting the course, but wanted to get better form. Maida's training really helped refine my form and now I'm really getting the most out of my workouts! These classes included so much more than lifting weights - it also gave us tips on nutrition, stretching, and all around wellness for the body. Not to mention that this course is offered at an amazing price! I've been at Habitual for almost 2 years now and I absolutely love it! I signed up for personal training and was placed with AJ and he's the. best. ever. He's motivating, kind, hard working and pushes me to be better every time I see him. I've renewed countless times for boot camp, PT and gym access with Silvio and each time it's been a seamless and amazing experience. I signed up for Women Who Lift at Habitual in January and it was absolutely amazing! Maida was so energetic and passionate about weight training - she was so eager to bring us into her world and her energy was contagious. Her priority was always everyone’s safely - ensuring proper form and posture in all the exercises as well as consistently motivating you to be your best and focusing on your own individual pace.
