I worked with Christine on my daughter's room. She is 13 years of age and the room need to be changed to match where she is in life now. Christine did a great job at creating a 1960's inspired MOD room, utilizing some of the existing furniture and blending it with the new furniture she either designed or suggested, making her drawings come to life. She paid close attention to what my daughter desired and incorporated all of the features, colors, textures and lighting into the design. She was a pleasure to work with and easy to get in touch with, even beyond normal working hours. This was all accomplished while keeping the budget in mind. The project went so well, that I also hired Christine to help design our new office space. That has now been completed with much success and raving reviews. Once again, she understood and delivered on the objectives of the project, incorporating logos, colors, functionality and the overall feel of the space. Habitech acted as a consultant on my kitchen remodel to integrate an updated design within my 1690’s Farm house. Their expertise of materials, color selections and details was invaluable. When working on a house ass old as ours, there is a lot of problem solving. They consistently found solutions for problems we encountered such as reworking an original old built in cabinet by enhancing it with cove molding and painting it to match the new cabinets rather than replacing it. They convinced us to use a new dark wood floor while all the original floors throughout the house are different and it looks great. The countertop they suggested and selected was a 3" honed calcutta bianco marble with a large farm sink came out beautiful.

Habitech created a striking and unique design for the bathroom in my NYC coop that I take pleasure in every day. They used two contrasting tile combinations and complementary fixtures that made for a harmonious combination in a small space. The lighting and cabinetry were both attractive and practical. Outstanding, resourceful, creative, intelligent, helpful, and special, are but a few of the words I use to describe the very superior decorating and design projects that have been completed by Habitech Planning and Design.
I renovated an apt. At Columbus Cirlce, NYC, and the team was able to complete all the necessary steps that usually plague renovations in co-ops. Not one problem occurred, and the apt is lovely. My expectations for the project were more than fulfilled.

In addition, Christine worked tirelessly to help me decorate a very large bedroom, living room and den in my home in Sands Point. She was available night and day, and created fabulous spaces that bring joy and comfort on a daily basis. Christine finds the best buy, knows materials and vendors, and has a superb eye for detail. She wants her customers to be happy and to enjoy their homes. And she, as well as Denise, are quite successful.

We have had the pleasure to hire Christine and Denise for multiple projects in our home--kitchen, family room, patio, living room, first floor decoration--even the interior of our 46' sailboat! . They have great versatility and picked up on what we like and our style choice very quickly. These talents allowed them to sift through the many design choices and provide a wonderful selection of choices, but no so many that it was overwhelming. They also provide great project management so that what you envision with them actually happens on schedule! We were just about to start a master bedroom/bath renovation with them, but due to a new position we must relocate! Hopefully not so far that they will not be able to help us on the next house!
