We called H2 on Wednesday morning to request a plumber attend due to a leak in our property. The engineer, Tom turned up by lunchtime and found the leak in no time, despite another company attending the previous day and not being able to locate the leak. Always prompt, turn up when they say they're going to turn up, extremely polite, very knowledgeable and safe, and leave the place spotless once they've finished. Quotes are itemised and sent quickly. Rang up H2 after a boiler went on the blink during the cold last week. As you can imagine i was not the only person having problems with a boiler so was told that it was unlikely that they could get an engineer out to me that day. i must have sounded disappointed because the very helpful women at the end of the line proceeded to ask me a few questions regarding the problem, i explained that i wss getting no hot water. She asked if i was in a ground floor flat, i said yes, she then asked me if the boiler was making a gurgling sound. i said yes. She then advised that the condensate pipe was probably frozen, all i needed to do was use warm water on the pipe outside. She then suggested a website to show me what to do. This is a very efficient company and the engineers arrived at the agreed times. The first engineer was particularly good as he managed to make the fan work until it was replaced. The only fault was the second engineer who did not fit the cover back properly so that it has now fallen off. This is an expensive company but one gets what one pays for on the whole. More...
