This place changed my life! After trying to achieve my Maths and English for years, I'v finally done it. I also completed supporting learning and teaching level 2 at LLC. From these course (which were fully funded) I started working as a tutor on Saturdays, before working full time in a SEN school. In July I aim to finish my level 3, which i am doing through the school.In September i am hoping to enrol on a education degree while still working full time in a school. More...

Fantastic college to learn with! All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming, as are the fellow students.My teacher, Simone, is great with us as adult learners. She takes her time so that we all learn at our own pace and no one is left behind. Also taking into consideration any learning difficulties we may have. I do enjoy coming on this course with LLC. The tutors do go out of they way to ensure you are comfortable and quite clear in the course that you are doing and they are very helpfull in facilitate with your needs...well done LLC !

What do you love most about your job?
each member of staff at LLC is totally committed to the organisation and the service users we engage with. We love working here as we can gain a strong sense of purpose through making a difference to peoples lives. LLC provides high quality training and education for our community, both for individuals and for employers, that meets needs and deliver excellent outcomes.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Our CEO started this business to enable small community based organisations to continue to be able to access government funds to carry on with their critical work across the region. Without LLC many small grant funded organisations would have closed. Today LLC is a growing and thriving organisation, highly regarded by our communities, our funders and relevant national bodies such as Ofsted.

• 90.3% of our learners successfully achieve their qualification (ESFA data).
• 90% of learners come from disadvantaged communities (Ofsted 2017).
• 98% of our learners surveyed agreed that the Advice and Guidance they received prior to starting their course was good (LLC Survey).
• 93.2% of LLC learners would recommend LLC to their friends or family (ESFA learner satisfaction survey).
In our recent Ofsted Inspection (November 2017), we were graded as a ‘Good’ provider, a selection of our strengths according to Ofsted are listed below:

• LLC carry out detailed analysis of learners’ skills helps ensure that they are placed on the right course at the right level in their subject area.
• LLC have developed a wide range of partnerships that enrich the curriculum on offer to learners and ensure that it reflects local and national employment opportunities.
