When I joined the club I'd been asked to set up a direct debit and to pay for TWO months membership in advance. They described that double payment as convenience for customer - when you decide to quit your membership just notify the club, cancel DD and keep using the gym for one month (prepaid at the beginning).
So, one day I turned up and said that I want to stop my membership, I'd been told to cancel my DD and I did. Next month I received a reminder to pay outstanding DD and a penalty. I spoke to various members of staff and manager (Pete? his name) no one could sort this case out! They insisted I need to pay for current month plus penalty for late payment PLUS FOR THE NEXT MONTH(!) in order to stop my membership according to their rules. It was an utter mess! I refused to pay and walked away. As the result GXFitness owes me one month of membership which they deny despite my bank statement.

Good value for money gym, Great selection of new innovative classes for all capabilities. Good range of equipment and strength platforms. Clean and tidy plus the gym has a beauty salon and sunbed shop downstairs . Parking is free before 9am and after 6pm and Sundays. Give it a try people More...

First time today and the place looks great! Loads of weights and many if each bit if equipment.
The VR classes are a great idea, thousands of classes to choose from for all levels!
The Pen... What can I say?! It was just like being back in the Army! Very high intensity training that even some of the fitter persons were struggling!
With its promotion opening offer it's great value for money!!!
