My name's Gavin, I have been teaching students to play guitar since 2006, when I started my own business teaching guitar.
I teach guitar to students of all ages from total beginners to intermediate level.
have a great teaching style, a lot of playing experience and knowledge and am very easy to get on with.

Looked around to find the right teacher that is understanding and helpful and I found this in Gavin , he is experienced in teaching guitar in all areas from beginner to intermediate , I'd recommend Gavin and have to give him 10/10 , you will not find a better teacher .

One of my life time ambitions was to play the guitar i am 60yrs old , off and on over the last 45 yrs never getting past go I tried the early days tutor books that were around at the time, just could not understand them, you need a book to understand the book! type of feeling, tapes cds same results as the books getting nowhere, yes youtube great but really there is nobody really there to stop you correct you and you only get what has been loaded up ok questions can be asked but how long for the answer decided to try a tutor first lesson told gavin about my eye sight problem had a knock about he quickly worked out what level was best for me and arranged a 2nd lesson when i arrived an enlarged song sheet was all printed set up and ready to start!!!! before the end of the 2nd lesson half way through my first song !!!!!! NEED I SAY ANYMORE More...

My daughter started lessons with Gavin as a complete beginner, within just a few weeks she had learnt so much and this encouraged her to continue. Gavin's style is relaxed, he is passionate about what he does and is able to tailor the lessons to suit individual requirements. Gavin is a nice friendly guy. His patient and lively teaching method really took my daughter to the next level very quickly. He makes learning fun by helping you to learn and practice all those tunes you've always wanted to play from any year or genre.
