Rick has been playing our employee holiday parties for the last 7 years and does a wonderful job. He accommodates venues of all sizes. He plays a mix of secular and holiday tunes on acoustic guitar beginning at the cocktail hour and going to the very end of the party. He also has obliged us with back-up music for Christmas carols. What inspired you to start your own business?
Working for myself as an event musician versus allows me the flexibility to deal directly with clients and do whatever it takes to exceed their expectations. Prior to starting my own solo-event business I played with an ensemble for 15 years and didn't like how the band leader treated the clients. I knew I could do better on my own and have proven that by playing 2,000+ solo events, with over 50% of them as referrals.

Rick Iacoboni creates ambiance for life's celebrations with instrumental acoustic guitar music. He has played guitar professionally for over 25 years with bands and as a soloist, having performed at over 2,500 special events. He was voted “Top Acoustic Guitarist - Wedding Ceremonies - 2020 |2018 | 2017 Cleveland Hotlist” and was selected to perform at Blossom Music Center’s signature 50-year celebration event.
Rick's portable wireless set-up enables him to move freely during the course of an engagement. He can set-up in a gazebo or an outdoor patio, and move indoors. Others use him for cocktail music in a lobby and later move him inside the dining hall for dinner music. Rick plays 6- and 12-string acoustic guitars through a small amplifier. He is available for 1-5 hour engagements including:
