This was our 2nd time using the service in Hilton Head while vacationing. Each time our experience was exceptional! Kim came with A bag of toys and my grandsons had a great night. I needed sitting services at the last minute for a conference in Myrtle Beach. I could not get through on the telephone line since it was late Sunday evening, however, I left an email and Melissa called me back immediately and told me she would try her best to find someone. She found someone to assist me all three days within about 20-30 minutes. The young lady she sent was absolutely perfect for my girls, they ADORED her! I stayed at Palmetto Bluff for a wedding, we only had a one-room unit with 3 kids under 4 (my youngest is 3 months old). I left them with Louise for 2 nights in a row and she was amazing. Punctual, good natured, very patient. My 4 year old really enjoyed her company. The service itself is easy to work with and they accommodated my needs. Over the course of nine days for spring break in Palmetto Bluff Resort, we had the opportunity to get to know three wonderful sitters from Guardian Angels sitters. All of them were prompt, professional and conscientious. But far and away, we were over the moon about Jamie. As a former teacher, Jamie knew just how to engage our 3- and 5-year-old independent-spirit girls. But Jamie also knew how to handle sibling squabbles, reluctant sunscreen applications, and tricky transition times such as getting dressed and out the door, and eating times. Jamie was wonderful in engaging our girls outside with her wonderful bag of tricks; they went to scheduling for nature, and try to capture a lizard, and he learned how to play it safe game of baseball with her. Jamie's interest in and love of our girls was very evident. She treated them with so much kindness and love. We are thrilled to see her walk through the door each day. We are now annual members and feel so blessed to have a service we can call and know that will send over a background checked, CPR certified sitter. I've used Guardian Angels on several different occasions and I'm an annual member. Its a wonderful feeling knowing that I have someone to count on whether its a day on the boat or a very last minute date night. All of the sitters are professional, friendly and my kids have so many stories to tell afterwards. Oh - and they always clean too! The owner has bent over backwards on many occasions to fill my requests and we are grateful to have such a wonderful local agency.
