TL;DR: These guys were great - prompt, professional, and polite along with just being nice guys. I'd been so stressed after researching other movers and reading so many negative reviews, including for those who were recommended, that I seriously considered doing the whole move on my own. A trusted friend recommended Grunts Move Junk and there were so many positive reviews I'd actually wondered if they were real. Based on my experience, they were, indeed, real. Richard, Carlos, and Eugenio were the team who showed up, and at one point, Richard asked me if I'd worked with other movers before. I hadn't. He told me that they were going to give me the best moving experience and ruin it for other movers in the future. Turns out, he wasn't kidding. These guys are awesome. Reasonably priced too for everything they hauled away. Guys showed up early, took everything (old broken freezer, old generator, old snowblower, etc. ), were quick, polite and extremely efficient. I am so grateful I found these guys!! For the first time in my life, I was so thrilled with a buying experience that I couldn’t wait to write a review. Yesterday was my move from a 5-bedroom house to both a storage unit and an apartment. It went incredibly well, so well that I couldn’t believe how great the day went when the crew left. The 3 guys who showed up on time were tremendously polite, sincere, hard working, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. The move was so smooth going 50+ miles away in one day loading and unloading everything that I even had energy afterward to have a great evening and see a movie LOL. Corey, Anthony, and “Hercules” Joe were a team I’ll never forget! Joe handled the downward side of a very heavy, extremely large and awkward butcher’s chest of drawers down a long flight of stairs by himself. I couldn’t believe it! I asked for a few strong men and GMJ delivered. They worked with me from start to finish, listened well, we’re adaptable, and managed to get all the pieces and boxes into and out of the truck with ease. Everything was well wrapped and arrived in perfect condition. Thank you Grunts Move Junk for making a tough day turn into pure delight and great satisfaction. As for the bill, Cory, the team lead, did an excellent job going over everything at the start and again at the end. It was great to see how thorough they were with their initial estimate and final payment on the money side. I’d hire this company, and this crew again, any day of the week.
