What kind of accounting services do you provide?
Having gained most of my experience in small companies I have a really broad depth of experience, from data entry to interacting at Board level.
I'm great with systems and making things run smoother, am happy to take on processing and book-keeping and can advise on strategic planning and cash flow management as well as completing regular tasks such as VAT returns and payroll.
I'm a great team player and always keen to ensure that I'm delivering a service which is valuable and makes my clients feel that a weight has been lifted off their shoulders!
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
Nobody enjoys doing their books! Or at least people very rarely enjoy doing their books. You want someone to take the strain, make your life easier, and most importantly you want an accountant who you don't dread calling!
A good accountant will be proactive in learning about your business and will try to make sure you get the most out of your numbers, they shoudl help your run your business better, not just tell you how much tax you owe at the end of the year!
What do you love most about your job?
I choose to work with small and start-up business because I love working with people who have ideas and grit. I know that small teams are often the most adaptable, most capable and most innovative, although often also the most stretched.
I’m not afraid of minor chaos (or major chaos either, if it comes to it) and thrive off of bringing smooth running to businesses so that you and your team can focus on making the magic happen.

What inspired you to start your own business?
Working in an exciting, fast paced start-up technology company with an amazing team of smart, dedicated people on a mission to achieve the impossible!

If you meet me, you'll hire me. I'm a people person, very down to Earth and like to enjoy my day, a the while whilst being incredibly conscientious and slightly geeky.
