Do not use their service. Paid $545 for a new house inspection, can’t believe they failed to spot two shower room blockage, huge gaps between the garage door, that allows rain, heat & snow to occupy the garage. Couple months ago, during annual A/C maintenance, the owner spotted mice hiding in the attic & was explained due to inspection company’s negligence, those gaps between the wood frames on top of the house & bricks were left open without sealing those gaps/holes that allows smalls mice to get into the house & attics. Had to hire professional to capture them out of my own pocket. Their manager never responded to my complaints after multiple voice mails left. Submitted a complaint with Better Business Bureau, as usual never responded. This is outrageous. More...

I don't often write reviews but this time I feel obliged to give back to the community. Thank to my fellow yelpers I was able to select the right company to inspect my first home. I contacted Greenworks late afternoon on Dec 18 right after I put an offer in, since I had a 7-day option period but we would lose 2 days due to Christmas. Thank goodness they had 2 time slots available the following day, Dec 19. The morning after, a 58-page report was sent to my inbox on Dec 20. The whole process took less than 48 hours. We were able to move forward to the next step before Christmas/NY dead week.James and an inspector in training were our inspectors. I came out for the last 30 minutes of the inspection for the in-person summary only. But, my realtor was there much longer to observe them in action. She was really impressed at how knowledgeable and thorough them were. Upon receiving the report, I noticed that beside the findings, James made really helpful comments about home maintenance, since he knew I was a first time homebuyer. He also said that he'd be available for follow up questions too, which I think was really nice of him. More...

Colton did a great job with the pre pour inspection for me. He identified several oversight/failures by my builder which I was able to get corrected before the pour. He was very patient and informative to show me all the issues. He also did a great job communicating with me on the time of arrival and when I should be onsite for minimal time investment from me with my busy schedule. Bottom Line: GreenWorks Inspections is a great choice! Newbie to the home buying process didn't know that the inspection had to be done ASAP. Thank goodness GreenWorks had a next-day appointment that worked with my availability. The next day, our inspector was communicative to let me know he was on the way and had subsequently arrived at the property (on time). He was very thorough and educational. Report was delivered earlier than promised. Less one star because our inspector had to access the ceiling and in the process there were some scuff marks left on the floor from the ladder and finger and hand prints left on the wall. They located a leak on the first house I had put an offer on, someone had tried to cover it up by painting over the watermarks, but they found it. Our home inspector, Chris Storey, was friendly, thorough, extremely knowledgeable and very professional. He inspected every facet of the home in great detail and gave us a wealth of information during our walk-thru with him at the end of his inspection.
