Erin and her team (in partnership with the amazing Piggy BBQ) catered my wedding recently and did an absolutely phenomenal job in all aspects. I could not have asked for better communication along the way and a more expertly-executed dining experience! Green Scene accommodated my guests with dietary restrictions and worked with my desire to have a family-style dinner with 100 guests. I enjoyed visiting the farmers market on Thursday. They had interesting, friendly vendors and the laidback atmosphere was just right on a warm summer afternoon. I had my Chihuahua with me and there were several other dogs there as well. I hope they can ad more seating if it gets any busier because it’s great to stay a while. Erin and the team at Green Scene catered our wedding for 135 people at our cabin on Leech Lake. They did an amazing job customizing the menu for us and focusing on local Minnesota favorites like Duck and Wild Rice. They also incorporated some special ideas like a taking a recipe of my Mom's and turning it into bite size pass around appetizers for our reception. On top of all that, they were able to squeeze in our rehearsal dinner with fresh walleye and even cater our Bloody Mary Bar the day after the wedding. I still have people talking about those BLTs and Frittatas. We were so impressed that we have continued to work with Green Scene on other events such as birthdays and anniversaries. Was just diagnosed with cyclic vomiting syndrome related to food sensitivities. This was the only place in town where I could find dairy free dairy foods. I make a sandwich every day and was so sad about having to give up mayo and butter. They have DELICIOUS alternatives that I, a chunky food addict, can not detect any difference from the real thing. The mayo is unreal, I am still blown away. They were eager to rectify the expired chips I accidentally bought, and gave me a free bag today! I bought more salsa because the first jar got gobbled up, everyone loves it, and I plan to go back often. I strongly encourage everyone to give this place a try, they have something for everyone, whatever your situation may be, and the quality vs price is pretty impressive compared to most places of this sort. 5 stars easily. I'm used to the large Lakewinds Co-Op in Minnetonka, but coming up north to my cabin this place is absolute wonderful! They have a good variety, fresh produce, & their pre made lunches are GREAT!
