Daniel and his team were wonderful to work with! We hired them for a corporate event in Raleigh and they did an amazing job. From customizing the menu options to creating a beautiful display, we were very impressed with Green Planet Catering. Throughout the process they were quick to respond and respected our wishes and budget. On the night of the event, their team was very flexible with our layout and was prompt, organized and friendly. Our attendance was around 100 people and Green Planet's suggestions were spot on regarding food/person. Overall, we would recommend Green Planet and Daniel's team for any event, large or small. This place is affordable and the quality is unbeatable. I used this company for a Professional Training event for about 80 people for 4 days and I got nothing but rave reviews about not only the food but the level of service. Green planet is catering my wedding reception this summer (June 2017). So far, it has been a phenomenal experience! Everyone has been incredibly nice and eager to make our vision a reality. During the planning phase, they have been incredibly flexible and responsive. We loved having Green Planet Catering provide food for our rehearsal dinner! We had a large party at an outdoor venue with no onsite kitchen and we were looking for someone who could provide a delicious vegan menu that even omnivores would love. Green Planet was perfect! They adapted their menu for us, were happy to let us taste every single dish at no charge, and were incredibly easy to work with in terms of logistics and details. I actually first found Green Planet thru my job which used them to cater a breakfast event. The food was amazing and my boss said that Jayme and all the staff were a pleasure to work with, so I thought that I would get a quote for my wedding. Their quote was slightly less than other caterers I met with and they were very helpful with working with our budget and making changes to the menu over time. I really appreciated their environmentally friendly practices and everyone raved about how delicious the food was! First, let me start by saying we repeatedly choose the multi-award-winning Green Planet for our catering needs primarily for their efforts to support eco-friendly business practices, local farming and all around sustainability. We have used Green Planet for many different types of catering: breakfast, board meeting, box lunches and more. I have always been pleased with their food and their customer service. After having Amy, Daniel & Crew cater a couple of events of ours, we now won't use anyone else. As a department within the School of the Environment at Duke, we are extremely concerned with the sustainability practices of vendors we use, and as a food snob, I'm extremely concerned with how everything tastes. :) Everything is always delicious, fresh, creative, and their environmental practices are so sound, that we actually have worked their business plan into lessons for students. They are clearly passionate about the cause, so easy to work with, and incredibly accommodating whenever I have dietary restrictions in our group. We worked with Daniel and the Green Planet catering team and there's nothing to say except that they were fantastic!

To start out with, we found them to be much more responsive and willing to talk through their quote with us. We wanted to make changes/additions/subtractions and Daniel never gave us any pushback. For someone who's on a budget, this was really helpful.

Were they the cheapest caterer around? Probably not, but their prices were very comparable to others in town. Not only that, but the food was great. Multiple people came up to us afterward and remarked on the food being so tasty. My stomach growls every time I think of the fried chicken sandwiches on bacon scones. Yes, you heard me right.

They flipped the room for us and it looked exactly like I wanted - all without the direction of a day of coordinator. We also ended up going with their compostable dining materials. It was great to know that everything from our day was going to be recycled afterward. For those of you going for a more casual event - I highly recommend this route. It's included in the cost of the food and no one really notices your plates and cups.

For our reception, they were working out of the Tir Na Nog kitchen, but I'm pretty sure they're in their own space now, complete with market and restaurant. Or close to being in it. Definitely check it out! More...
