We hired Juan and his team to help address our backyard, and how terrible it looked after we had our pool installed. There was a lot of loose dirt from the excavator that turned into mud and was getting all over the house when the dogs walked in. Juan designed an amazing looking pathway around our pool, with a couple of flower beds in the back of the yard. My wife worked with him to do the design and he even went with us to the nursery to look for the best trees possible. He explained what each plant/tree would cost, and how hard each one was to maintain so we didn't waste money on a bunch of plants that would die in the winter. The sides of our backyard hard a big slope, one side of the yard is 8 feet higher than the other side, and drainage was a big issue. Juan and his team fixed the slope and drainage so we didn't have a backyard full of mud. They just finished yesterday and it poured today for hours, so we got to test out the drainage quickly.
