I suspect that the previous reviews were left by first choice themselves ?? Did a resin drive and promised a guarantee ( big joke ) the drive was done in Feb.
And by March had started to lift , contacted John the owner and after 9 - 10 broken promises to repair the fault they finally turned up on May, disc cut out the bad part and then disappeared, I have now got a rubbish drive not fit for purpose and they do not want to know , they even charged me £250 extra to seal the drive but I have since been told that it should be left porous to allow the rain to drain through , if you call these people they will probably turn up on horseback wearing Stetson like the cowboys they are..i do not blame the lads who did the work ,they were nice hard working guys it is the management who don't care once they have trousers the money and and dont believe the spiel about paying when its done or by card they want money
Half way through always want cash so no tax to pay, gad to rate them but was not allowed no stars

Excellent job came when they said done what I wanted & finished when they said,I had a 2 other quotes they were a bit cheaper, the reason y I went with great choice I’ve viewed there work & done a bit of research on them out of all the company’s I’ve had quotes of, great choice was the only company that was trading standards Aproved & have very good ratings.

I've had quotes from other company's in Cardiff a few I've had turned up in roofing vans & fancy looking cars, then a friend of mine put me on to a Newport driveway company,Greatchoice drives & patios I called them & they give me a time & day to see me & give me a quote & time to think & consider, not like these Cardiff company's calling every second day. I called greatchoice back after 2 weeks after other quotes & told them 2 carry on with my drive, very smart & very pleased with my patio, John was so polite & his work crew to.Would recommend company to anyone who's looking to have their drive or patio installed.I would give this company 10 out of 10 More...

We are very pleased with our driveway. It looks great and the block edging is neat and accurate. The workmen were friendly and helpful. We needed to keep an eye on some details to make sure they remembered to do what was agreed, as there were a number of different people coming. We would have appreciated it if they had let us know when they were coming or not coming, as we had to stay in waiting for them. But basically, it's brilliant. What do you love most about your job?
Wot I love about wot we do is you meet different people every day & we do different drives every time going to different towns. Wether itbe resin : paving : fencing : turfing : landscaping etc we do a good job to get further jobs.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been doing it a long time & my dad before me have done it his dad before him I think it's something a person want to do & if that person is good at it they will keep it going doing good work.
