This review is more about an eye witness account of yesterday's internal business practice amongst the hectic morning breakfast crowd, not that my 3 GF pancakes weren't stunningly delish, because they were. As i sat alone to order and then await for it to arrive, i was able to absorb the scurry of employees dashing about clearing a table or two, welcoming fresh patrons of the day with smile enriched faces only to have a warm calm come over me as i witness staff cleaning chairs, no, not just wipe the seat off and go to the next one, but rather from hands n knees on the floor cleaning each leg, back, support posts of each chair..........needless to say i had to pick my bottom jaw up from the floor. Please carry on with solid business practices so that patrons may enjoy this haven for years to come. More...
Great food, creative menu, and good even for pick up to go. Love the gluten free options and the delicious desserts.
We ordered take out from here to drive back to our Air B&B in Truckee after a day at the car show/museum. We ordered an awesome Fiesta Bowl and Teriyaki Bowl here. These people know how to prep take-out! Generous portions, packaged nicely, and an encouraging message written on the top. Delicious meal More...
You want yummy fresh food head here! I was first introduced in college, they have one on the UNR campus. Found this one in Midtown and HAD TO STOP IN. Sure enough the food is continues to be made to perfection. I always leave feeling satisfied and "healthy" full, not tired and stuffed full.... Great prices and fresh food leaving you feeling good and refreshed! Try the quinoa salad as a side! More...
I've been coming here for YEARS! They never disappoint and have the best options for Vegan food! Everyone is Crazy kind and awesome at both midtown and south Reno! Don't read any of the negative yelp reviews those people have had ONE bad experience and I've had nothing but good! Make sure to Try the Cheesy Bruchetta, Jackfruit soft tacos or the jackfruit bbq sandwich!!!!! The owner and his wife are extremely kind and all his staff are wonderful also since you are reading and wanting tips about this place make sure to leave good tips for the workers! More...
Full Disclosure: I prefer to eat Vegan. Anyways, over the years Grateful Gardens has been hit or miss for different reasons but being an organic vegan friendly restaurant I have come back from time to time. Recently in the last couple months the food, the staff and the price has been just right (if you're smart about it). But today, I received amazing Vegan Pancakes with berries substituted for the apples that I had to write this down. Big shout out to Jose (the cook) for going above and beyond this one time and shout out to Tracy for being such a chill, down to Earth server. More...
I've heard a lot of great things about this place but I've never ordered from here and I'm sad it took me this long! We ordered for our office and I got the tuna melt with a cup of tomato soup. When our food arrived to the office they had our names on the boxes (which is a big plus when ordering for 12 people, leaves no room for any confusion) with a cute saying. The sandwich came with a little green salad and you can add a cup of soup for an additional charge. I don't usually order tuna melts but I thought I'd give it a try and I don't regret it - very tasty and filling. The menu itself is a bit pricey but worth it. I can't wait to try the pupusas next. This lovely cafe was the fifth stop on my recent Reno Food Tour. This location is tucked in a little and unassuming strip mall in Midtown. Even the decor is uplifting and refreshing--just like the food. This stop in my tour provided a sample of their tomato soup and a small portion of the warm kale salad. I've honestly never had kale in salad form, so I was initially a bit hesitant about it. However, the salad has dried cranberries, slivered almonds, shredded beets, and a tasty dressing. Plus, it was warm! The toppings really helped calm the strong flavor of the kale, but it was still strong enough to be enjoyed. The tomato soup was also a great complement. You could really taste the freshness exuding from both bites. I also really appreciated the decor. Each table has a different set of salt and pepper shakers, which is a unique but adorable touch! The people are great, respectful, happy. Great place to go. Food is fabulous, not much to say but if you like real food and real people you don't want to pass this it up. It is definitely going to be on my top 5 places to go. More...
Amazing atmosphere, delicious wholesome food! The service was great! Definitely a must for a low key lunch.
Decided this was what I wanted for my first meal after giving birth and not only was the food amazing but the staff was sweet enough to give us a free dessert to celebrate! Love this place
Rewards: Don't forget to sign up for their rewards program! Ask your server how to sign up. There have been a couple times that I've eaten in and they forgot to ask me, no worries, just write your phone number and the word "REWARDS" at the top of your receipt when you pay. Vegan Desserts: There are very few place where I can find vegan desserts, and it's a huge comfort to know that Great Full Gardens will always have my back. They have a constantly rotating selection of tasty vegan treats in their cold case. Alternative hot beverages: Their turmeric latte is to die for. It's like drinking a warm cup of sunshine in the morning. Their magical mushroom drink is surprisingly very good. I was a little cautious at the thought of a mushroom drink but was pleasantly mistaken. Top of my list is their Aztec D'Oro. An incredible mocca drink with cayenne. Don't knock it until you try it, it's next level amazing. Sauces: All dips and sauces are 100% vegan. Food: I've never had a meal I didn't like here. Before going vegan their Terrific Turkey Pesto was my go-to favorite meal. Now that I am vegan, I'm absolutely addicted to their vegan grilled cheese sandwich. I order it at least once a week when I'm at work. It's the perfect cure for a bad day. One of my top 5 restaurants in all of Reno. (All of their locations). More...
What a find for this out-of-town tourist! Delicious food, reasonably priced, cheerfully prepared and presented. My husband is allergic to gluten so GFG is our must-see brunch spot when we come to Reno. Love the specials. New rewards program. Recommended! More...
Great full gardens south is my savor! I work in midtown and it's sooo busy. I live in south Reno and was worried this one wouldn't be as good as the original location. This is now my favorite spot. Healthy, clean food options Yas!!! The paleo bowl is my life and the stuffed mushrooms I highly recommend. Hands down the best bruschetta bread appetizer in town! (Cashew cheese is life) Breakfast, lunch and dinner you can't go wrong. All in all I love eating here because you leave feeling good and not regretful or bloated. More...
Good food! The staff and service was great as well. They had interesting selections of dishes.
I had the most amazing meal here. It was unique and yummy. As a vegetarian I loved all of the choices I had on the menu. The service was fantastic, everyone was friendly, and the ambience was lively and upbeat. More...
There's something at Great Full for everyone, regardless their dietary preferences. I was pleased at the number of plant-based options, doubly so since the food is mostly sourced locally and sustainably. I got the vegan hash and a coffee; it was delicious and filling. Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive ~ even though it was during the busy breakfast hour. More...
Thank you Greatful Gardens for the delicious lunch!! First time customer and will be back again!!
The paleo bowl with steak will run you around $20 but is it awesome! Normally the lighter stuff doesn't fill me up but their paleo bowls are very filling. They also have a Ruben but without real meat that is really good. If you're looking for a healthy meal and okay with paying for it, this is your place for lunch. More...
Didn't expect to find something like this in Reno, NV. Stumbled onto it completely by accident. Everything is outstanding, from the decor inside to the food to the hipster services, which usually intimidates me because I'm not that cool. But these folks were genuinely nice, and you can feel it in the food they prepare. For vegetarians like myself, it's a real oasis. Wish I lived closer, like even within the same time zone, because I'd be a regular. More...

Ah! I loved this place! So much delicious and healthy food. Loved the soups, salads and sandwiches and it was a welcomed quick lunch near our client in Reno. Wish they had one out East!
Great Full Gardens is a welcome addition to the Reno food scene. An awesome place to go with a group of people with varied food needs. Vegan, gluten free, carnivore, no problem. Everyone will find lots of options. More...
Delicious! I had an iced turmeric latte and the jackfruit tacos and both were amazing. As someone with celiac, I appreciate dining in a restaurant that has so many gluten free options, and there's no worry of cross contamination because they clearly understand food allergies. This place (and their stellar staff, such as Mikayla at the bar) changed my mind about what’s available in Reno. All the food is spectacular – stop in for breakfast and dinner to see expanded menus as well as they really do the whole day right.
This was my first time here. I got their burger and the matcha latte and both were very good. I can't think of anything to complain, so 5 stars for this place. I've tried burgers at other places before, but I think this place is by far the best. It could also be that I was hungry, but I was satisfied with my experience here. More...

Enjoyed lunch here Friday afternoon, it was quite busy for a weekday but understandable with it being 4th of July weekend. Ordered avocado bruschetta for appetizer, large portion & was pretty good. I had the Cobb salad which was recommended by our waitress and it did not disappoint. Very large and the champagne vinaigrette dressing was amazing. My friend had the grilled cheese with tomato soup and said it was "just okay." The service was a little slow and the food was not INCREDIBLY superb, but there were a ton of healthy, fresh options on the menu which I love to see. Good place for lunch or breakfast if you're looking for a place to find a healthier meal. More...

This place has a great vibe. After a long day and a cancelled flight I rushed from the hotel by foot to the restaurant. They told me over the phone not to worry about the time even though they were closing in ten minutes. I ordered over the phone for take out. I had the paleo salmon and a apple pie type cookie. The food was delicious and I became a fan. The staff were all super chill and made me feel at home. Great place and great food. I look forward to coming back. More...

Awesome place, great food super service. I had the huevos pupusa amd they were the beat eggs ever and we bought the siren sauce.

We finally made it for dinner, with my son visiting from out of town.My son has very high standards, so finding something to his liking is stressful. We pulled in right after 7 pm last night and it was consistently busy.Lots of families with kids and some adults. We were seated quickly at a table ( next time I'd like the tall tables). The decor is cute and every table has water in a bottle to share. At first, he was watching the kitchen and noticed they just used to tap water... but on the table is a pamphlet explaining their water system.... so a plus for that!I ordered the chips with salsa and guacomole, I got the cod tacos, hubby got the pasta , and my son got the chicken sandwich with tomato soup.My tacos were nice (only ate one), hubby ate all his pasta and my son ate all of his sandwich and soup. He did wish the soup had a more balanced creaminess.. but still good flavor. For the dessert to go we got the strawberry cake and one pumpkin cookie.I think we will be going back for lunches. glad it's close by! Never fails to please. They have consistently good food and service. You can eat good organic food and stick with your diet whether it be vegetarian, paleo or just plain yummy. My personal favorite is the paleo bowl with salmon. More...
Excellent place for breakfast; everything is fresh and nicely made. Try eggs Benedict with avocado, tomato and spinach. They have the traditional kind too.
Excellent service, excellent menu, excellent food! Sooooo good! The staff is so friendly! Had 1/2 a tuna melt....should have gotten the full sandwich! Side of chips and salsa was yummy and salsa was chunky! Also tried the angus beef melt only got a 1/2 and again should have gotten the full size! Can't wait to go back!!! More...
What a gem in Reno! They offer a ton of vegan/vegetarian options, but also have traditional meat dishes. For lunch, I ordered a side of vegan curry lentil soup and the vegan black bean burger with vegan coleslaw. Oh, did I mention my lunch was vegan? :PEverything I had was delicious and hearty for a reasonable price as well. The atmosphere was casual and unpretentious. The service was energetic and friendly. Will be back again when I'm in Reno. More...
Is healthy organic food yummy, flavorful, especially if you have food allergies/ restrictions? Heck yes (here anyways)!!! I ordered the fiesta bowl, and an appetizer of chips and dip which I picked salsa and guacamole as my dip choices. I love how the menu denotes what is free of common dietary restrictions, gluten free and vegan but I'm extra special and also cant have soy, I asked the waiter if he knew if any of the food items I was ordering contained soy, he promptly went back to check and made a note to the chefs that I had a soy allergy! Now for the food: so so good, I hands down will always recommend the fiesta bowl, vegetables were so flavorful and the dressing has just the right amount of lime! The salsa for the chips.. well I'm still craving it today! Service was a bit slow but I will definitely be back, love this place. More...
Wow, what a surprise for a strip mall place. The staff is lovely and the food was absolutely perfect. Great take on vegan food! Lots of vegetarian options that all tasted well.
I'm here every weekend for brunch and have eaten most of the breakfast and lunch menus. NEVER have been disappointed. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. They were even willing to save a large table for us for my wedding brunch. I can't recommend enough the liege waffles and for lunch, the vegan Rueben. It's better than the meat version by far. Definitely worth a stop here. More...
They offer a very creative and tasty menu with a lot of options sure to please everyone in your group. I recommend any of their tasty soups, I had a wonderful cup of curried apple soup. I also highly recommend their great full bowls, very tasty and filling. My favorite is the wasabi vegetable bowl to which I add chicken-yummy!!! Had time for a meal before flying out. This place is GREAT!! The food, service and atmosphere are all fantastic. I would make it a point to come back next time I’m in the area. More...
Excellent, understated, locally-sourced, natural flora (and now expanded fauna) restaurant. The soups are inspired. We only eat veg selections and they are creative and delicious. Vegan and raw desserts also recommended. The friendly staff will not disappoint but do not go here for a hurried meal - enjoy the great food, companionable environment, and local art on the walls. We always visit every time we return to Reno. More...
Fresh and delicious!
Love the food. The host was very rude when we asked her how long it was going to be the wait since it was so full.

Amazing place but they are always too busy and take quite some time to get your food. Also hard to find parking!
Awesome food and service.
Always excellent food fresh wonderful variety kombucha on tap delicious hot teas chai Fresh Veggies delicious vegan options and kind people
Here you will find a variety of fresh organic dishes and plenty of vegetarian and vegan options in addition to the usual meat offerings. If you order a Belgium liege waffle you may want to consider a topping other than maple syrup because the waffles themselves are incredibly sweet due to the way the dough is made. These waffles are crusty and dense and naturally sweet so I got mine with peanut butter and bananas. Sorry I ate it before taking a picture lol. If we get back here for vacation again I will order just the avocado toast - see the attached picture. This comes as a generous plate full and is topped with fresh radish and sprouts. Literally the best avocado toast I've ever had AND it happens to be healthy. More...
Great food and friendly staff
Loved this place so much during my visit! As someone with eating restrictions not by choice it was the best thing ever to be able to customize things and have endless options! Even desserts! Miss you!
Best salads in Reno. Wait-staff are super friendly, helpful, and as one said, living the dream. Ate here two nights in a row - it was THAT good!

OMG!!!!! This places was so freaking good!! I had a BLTA on nan which was the best BLT of any kind I have ever had EVER!! Like literally melt in your mouth delicious!! I had a side of curry Cauliflower soup that was creamy, a little bit spicy, I'm kinda a baby when it comes to spice..sweet, with crushed peanuts that added a perfect texture to this velvety goodness!! The AZTECA mocha sealed the deal, I was a decadent treat!! I'll be back, maybe even this week More...
I ate here twice during my weekend stay in Reno and the food was mind-blowingly good. This place is wonderful if you have any sort of dietary restrictions, such as vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free. The staff here is so friendly, too! Just a beautiful environment. Highly recommend. More...
Grateful Gardens always has very satisfying food for me. They satisfy my need to not have gluten. In addition they have vegan as well as paleo. They really go out of their way to be able to satisfy any dietary need. I almost never vary from what I order. Their grilled cheese sandwich has an amazing flavor. I add onion because melted cheese and onion just taste good. This time I decided to have the ham sandwich. It was wonderful. I also added a cup of the totally tomato soup. This isn't the grade school tomato soup that I learned to detest. This is flavorful with big chunks of tomato. More...

I love everything here.. but i truly hate the food portions, I'm not an exaggerated person, but i am 6'3.. i'm not a kid anymore, but overall great place for vegetarians & Meat eaters, Recommended
One of our favorites! A great place to go for a healthy meal. The soups are delish with my favorite being the potato leek.Their sandwiches are also bomb! My personal favorite is the veghead, but it's hard to choose with them all being so tasty. If you're not into sandwiches definitely try the paleo bowl or warm kale salad with some added protein. The food and service is superb! Take out is also available. I love that they opened this location in South Meadows. I don't have to drive all the way to Midtown anymore to enjoy a great and healthy meal.
Derrick I love this waiter! Very professional, charismatic and overall provided a great experience. The food as always is terrific.
Pretty god vegan food at pretty good prices. They also offer normal dishes such as the old stand-by of eggs and bacon.
Great Full Gardens- South, greatful me!Yeah, I'm a fan. These guys know were to get some good veggies. It is good. I would really like to know where they get their veggies from because it does make a difference. We got the cheeseburger and bad burrito. These were both pretty good. I was really surprised. I am definitely going to have to try some of the the different items on the menu because they do look good. They have outdoor seating which is nice. The staff here is friendly and accommodating. The parking is plentiful. They have one restroom for males and females. I really like the quality they have for all the veggies. You can really taste it. I am a believer when it comes to getting good veggies versus average quality veggies. I can taste the difference now. It's like getting store bought eggs versus eggs that we get from our chickens. Its is a huge difference. I cant ever go back. I will definitely be back. Thanks for reading my review. More...

Highly recommend Great Full Gardens!! It's great for kids! It's great for groups! It's great for vegetarians! It's great for omnivores! Check this place out!!! Just be prepared to wait, cause there can be a line! We loved great full gardens in midtown. So when they opened up one down south, we were super excited! It's quickly became a staple in our family!! The staff is so friendly and down to earth! The food always taste fresh! The only down fall is that it can get super busy around lunch time, so either be prepared to wait, or come at an off time! They have a good sized kiddo menu, but my daughter is obsessed with the waffle, so we never order off the kids menu! (Seriously, the waffle is amazing!!! With real maple syrup!) the soups are fantastic!! I often order the soup sampler, it's magic!!! More...
Excellent food, great service. Options for every diet. Welcoming atmosphere. Even their water decanters have sacred geometry to help restructure their drinking water. If I lived in Reno I’d be a regular. I want to give this resturaunt 5 Stars, however — they use artificial air fresheners in the bathrooms. I don’t understand why an eatery that goes such great lengths to provide healthy nourishment to its customers and to promote wellness would use artificial scents. Artificial scents contain toxic chemicals and are known carcinogens. Ick!! Instead I’d love to see/smell some natural lavender or lemongrass spray. Not an automatic dispenser that spews cancer. It was good service and really good food. It is very good and I'm hoping to go there someday!
Food was really good, portion sizes were a bit small.
Delicious food ! Loved this place !
First time in this location and first time going during dinner time. I usually go to the midtown location for lunch and they have the same kind of menu and the food is just as good here as it is in midtown. They do have a larger selection of desserts and everytime I get one it's always delicious. Never been disappointed going to eat at Great Full Gardens. More...
I'm conflicted every time I go to Great Full Gardens. The food is really good. Fresh, bright, delicious, and always cooked right. The ambiance is terrible. Clearly no thought was given to making this even resemble a restaurant in any way. Expect people sitting close to you, it being loud, and you feeling like you are in a cafeteria. But, the food speaks for itself. Just a shame that the restaurant is so plain, boring, and void of any character whatsoever. More...
This place was packed but after eating here I could see why... The food is delicious! I had a burger with the soup of the day and it was literally one of the best burgers I've ever had. Not to mention the staff here are all great! They're super friendly and you can tell they're genuinely happy to be working there. I can't wait to go back!! More...
Great! Highly recommend! Great Full Restaurant has something for ALL dietary preferences. Warm kale salad 6 stars ...oops- there are only 5. My daughter got tri tip tacos for smaller appetites. Excuse the drool. The Avocado Breuschette...OMG...dessert is a must! Vegan! The atmosphere is fun with an eclectic group. I went by myself and was totally comfortable and overheard lots of fun conversation even at 4:30! Great wait staff and wine selection. Happy hour ends at 5 :-(, so rush in for a late lunch or early dinner with 1/2 price appetisers and $4 draft beers and stay for the food and surroundingsLet me start by sharing I was a Vegetarian for about 12 years and a Pescatarian for 10...then I broke my collar bone and dislocated my left shoulder- ski jumping and then all I wanted was bacon, Twinkies and pepperoni pizza. I eventually came out to my family after sneaking to bars for pepperoni pizza, beer and hot wings! Finally, back to the diet I grew up with...and ate "some" meat for 13 years. Recently, I've been on a (sometimes) Vegan diet thanks to BVgan, Michele who was a wonderful coach... bvgan.com and have come full circle to mainly plant based diet because I have a bunch of grandchild and want to preserve the planet for them...long boring story later...GREAT VEGAN selection and meat too! My daughter is a Paleo nut and loves the bowls. The raw desserts are lovely. I make a date, walnut, honey crust slightly different and theirs is a true treat and then add the topping and fillings...I did rainbow which is a cashew cheese cake with 5-fruit layers! ...very close to the minimalist baker's best! High quality food with such a happy atmosphere. Love love love the wasabi bowl. I even tried to replicate the wasabi dressing but I just can't get it as creamy and yummy as they have it. I appreciate it so much that they have so many plant based options. The kombucha on tap is the messages on the to go boxes are adorable and just adds so much to the personality. Love everyone here! Love love love! As a HUGE GG lover, I had to stop by The Kitchen By GG!It's a quaint spot located off Longley with quick service and the quick food offerings, still holding true to Great Full Garden's exceptional quality, taste, and service. For $9/lb, you can choose to create your own salad or choose from vegan, vegetarian, and meat lasagna. As a vegetarian myself, I was extremely pleased to see these options. The salad bar is fully stocked with veggies, greens, and numerous toppings.I ended up ordering my absolute favorite- the FLTA to-go. The sandwich was ready quickly and I was happy that I was still able to use my rewards points at this location. I can't wait to come back to try the lasagna when I'm down on that side of town. I am in my new home town of Reno and stopped here for lunch during work orientation. The restaurant was crowded but I was welcomed and seated promptly. I chose the warm kale salad since it was highlighted as a popular item and added salmon. Once ordered my salad came quickly but since I didn't know what I wanted right away and asked for a moment to decide, that moment before my waitress came back ended up being long enough to really cut into my lunch break and dining time. That was really the only negative. My salad was superb. The salmon tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly. The salad had the perfect combination of texture, flavor and novelty. I would definitely return and order again. Price is a little steep for lunch but worth it in my opinion. More...
Breakfast and lunch are really good here. If you want to eat healthy, this is the place for you. Vegan, gluten free, paleo, you name it. My breakfast paleo bowl with eggs and bacon was really good. Kale sautéed in coconut oil with mushrooms, onion, and broccoli. My friend's grateful Benedict. The ham was thick, the eggs were perfectly cooked and the hollandaise was the cherry on top. So delightfully thin yet delicious on her lips. She liked the thinner sauce which allowed for an enjoyable meal. Coffee for me was strong but they have all the sweetners you need. Cute salt and pepper shakers on every table, all different. More...
New friends-new experiences. Our server tonight: Carly (who manages, too). We have a new plan in order to be a bit more frugal and span out to different items on the menu. Happy hour appetizers. They're 1/2 off (m-f 3-5pm) and fun to share!Tonight we ordered the Mediterranean hummus plate (Organic house made hummus, vegan tzatziki, cucumbers, carrots, olives, celery, pepperoncini & toasted naan wedges) and Chips & Dips (Organic blue corn tortilla chips, house made guacamole and white bean dip [you can also ask for salsa]). Filling and yummy as that is we added a bowl of their Totally Tomato (house) soup and extra naan wedges. Totally to die for! While they always have a different soup of the day, today's included cilantro...which we are allergic to. Maybe next time.Flawless, as usual. I love their organic coffees from local lighthouse coffee roasters. Tonight: Amazing Americano. It truly is. I also recommend the Pot of Too Souls loose leaf tea. Mrs E. suggests you try Davidson's organic Iced Tea. I like that they say a quick prayer while holding hands around 5pm. It's away from the customers, so you may never notice. The restaurant is always clean and bussed, the bathrooms always spic 'n span immaculate. The staff is overly friendly and accommodates your ever whim. I would love to eat here every day! More...
This place doesn't disappoint. Their food is always consistently good! I love the thanksgiving sandwich and their cheesy bruschetta!!
We were visiting Reno for a pole vault summit. We had vegans, meat eaters and picky kids. There was something for everyone. The food was fresh and delicious. They were also very accommodating with special requests. They even gave us 4 separate checks! Service was terrific! We even returned for lunch the next day. More...
Love this place. You can eat well, healthy and enjoy it. You can eat very reasonably or upgrade to a pricier menu that includes options like sea bass. This was my second time to this location which is more convenient to where I stay than the Midtown location (and also easier to get in and out at peak times). Parking is easy. They have some outdoor seating. Service is really good. More...
I tried the Double Edged Paleo bowl and eggplant garlic soup (special of the day). The bowl was full of kale and Brussels sprouts and mushrooms, lightly sautéed. Still crisp and seasoned with jalapeños. The tri-tip was well cooked and spiced perfectly! I found a favorite restaurant not at a casino! More...
Hands down, best full service restaurant in Midtown! Fresh, organic ingredients, service is unmatched, the food is delicious, and prices are reasonable. Kudos to Julie and Gino and all of the staff here for making this a wonderful place to eat and spend time in an uplifting environment! More...
Fantastic, healthy, well-made food, nice people, and a lovely ambiance. A welcome break from all the burgers 'n' fries joints that litter Reno! The homemade kombucha is delicious, as are the signature "liége" waffles (basically brioche cooked in a waffle iron). More...
Incredible food, outstanding service!
This was a delectable breakfast. I enjoyed the turmeric latte, fresh squeezed orange juice, and the heirloom tomato benedict with ham added. The service was excellent and the food and drink were delicious. I am looking forward to going back for breakfast and lunch. More...
I had my favorite the veg head! Love this place!
Excellent food, best Mimosas in town!
A must stop location. What amazing food and environment. The staff and management are extremely kind and carrying. Don't pass up healthy living :)
YUM!!!!! Great organic food! I wish we had one in Southern Oregon.
I love everything here! Healthy options. Fresh ingredients. Very tasty! Prices are a little high but the food is delicious and the portion sizes are pretty generous on most items.
So, The Bomb salad....it's definitely the BOMB! It is so good. I try to come at not busy hours because it gets busy here! Worth it though
This place really never disappoints me. I always have a hard time deciding what to get because everything on the menu sounds so delicious. I went to join a friend for brunch, so naturally I had to get a beer and an Aztec mocha (super tasty mocha with cayenne and cinnamon). For lunch I decided on the pastrami Rueben and a side salad with balsamic dressing. The Rueben was good, a little dry for my taste but still jam packed with meat! My son got his usual order of kids grilled cheese and fresh tomato basil soup. Not sure why sometimes It comes with two halves of a sandwich and sometimes only one. My son loved the tomato soup, so much so that he picked up a straw and started drinking it! I tried it as well, it was delicious and tasted really fresh. More...
First dinner time visit to this restaurant and we were very happy with our entire dining experience! Since it was our first time, we looked to our server for his expertise (thanks Cassidy!) and had a tasty Quesadilla and a nice glass of wine. My only concern was the noise level is quite high because this place was packed.! We will definitely be back, highly recommended. More...
Thank goodness for this place, I do get distracted by examining all the different kinds of salt and pepper shakers on the table, it's cool... Happy to have a place to eat where your family can eat eggs, animals etc. and I can have beans, greens, tofu and the like. The coffee is great and sometimes I buy handcrafted art, like a beautiful wooden snowflake with a crystal blue Lake Tahoe in the center. Go, the food is delicious and when friends come to visit, they can eat here with you and you don't have to be annoying and ask for vegan stuff, cuz they have it! More...
Great menu and excellent salads. Unfortunately their success has allowed them to continue to drive up the prices to the point where it's $16 to get a salad with some chicken on it. Not a great value anymore, if it ever was, but the food is excellent. More...
LOVE Great Full Gardens! Seems pricey at first but it's fresh, local, delicious food, and worth the extra couple bucks. My favorite is their Double Edge Paleo Bowl with a side of wasabi dressing. YUM.
This is a restaurant that has options for paleo, vegetarians, and vegans. I normally order Gino's Raw Power Bowl. Sounds quite appetizing right about now. They also have Kombucha on tap that they switch out every couple days and is sourced from Lake Tahoe. This place is a delight. More...
So good! I just tried the BLTA on naan bread and it was the best the best lunch ever! I wanted to take a picture to post for my review but as soon as I was handed the sandwich, it smelled so amazing I had to eat it and I ate it quickly. So good! So good!
Always excellent food. Always excellent service. Always excellent coffee.
Vegan, gluten free pizza! SO GOOD! It can get busy, but the wait isn't usually too long. Their coffee is also pretty good.
Great food but popular! Going at certain times means there's likely a wait. Great vegan selection
Always fabulous. Food and service both!!
The food is great.
Local love in a bowl!
Absolutely delightful discovery! Very clean;friendly and courteous service;decent prices and very healthy dishes.... My favorite is the kale salad bowl with salmon! Great breakfast items!

Good variety. Good portions and good prices. I'll definitely be going back
Super friendly, knowledgable staff with lots of vegan options!!
Delicious! I keep coming back and having the same meal because it's wonderful!! Will return and TRY to try something else!!
I never imagined that I would find a vegan place in Reno, this restaurant exceeded my expectations, loved their tacos, will definitely visit again.
A perfect restaurant is hard to find, but great full gardens checks all of the boxes. The food is fresh organic and always consistent. They’re a life saver when you’re sick because they sell frozen to-go soups. I had a cold and bought the curry and the tomato. Service is friendly and quick but can be slower down when they’re really busy, but it’s worth the wait. The Mike Crawford breakfast sando is to die for More...
Great service, fantastic food. I feel like this is a little hidden gem.
Wonderful restaurant to take my vegetarian granddaughter and carnivore son! I had the cream of wild mushroom/barley soup, the gourmet grilled cheese and the quinoa salad. The food was great and so was the service but you have to make it clear if you want vegetarian or meat as they have the same items in vegetation and meat.
Yummy healthy friendly
Delicious, healthy and affordable!
A thoughtful menu and delicious selection. Definitely a local favorite
Great locally owned restaurants, the south Reno and downtown locations. I usually go to the South Reno one. They have food for all pallets, meat eaters, vegetarian, and vegan. Locally sourced. Friendly staff. Unique menu selections. Moderately priced. Be carefull with the way too tasty desserts! More...

Some of the healthiest and best tasting food in Reno! Plus an incredibly friendly Staff.
Vegans, vegetarians, and salad loving omnivores rejoice! The Kitchen is quite literally the commissary kitchen for the Great Full Gardens empire, but it's also a self service prepared foods and salad bar too! On the commissary side, The Kitchen is busy doing light prep for the other GG locations, preparing Gino's signature soups for retail, and handling all of the bakery, pastry, and dessert needs for the restaurants too. You can't help but notice the energy in the air as you watch the team move seamlessly throughout the space. If you're nice, they might even give you a tour to show you where all the magic happens! On the "restaurant" side you'll find a long salad bar with just about every ingredient you could want on your salad. I especially appreciated the variety of proteins available including turkey and tuna salad. Pricing is by the pound, so you can mix and match the ingredients to your hearts content. I made one with a base of spring mix topped with shredded carrot, chopped turkey, chickpeas, tuna salad, sunflower seeds, and quite a few other ingredients with the dressing (house made) on the side. I arranged it all so I could make each bite like a different salad, which made for a great lunch! They also serve vegan and vegetarian lasagna, rotating soups, and have a case with beverages and prepared wraps and salads for grab and go. There are only a few small tables inside, and when the weather is nice, several outdoors, so best to plan on take out.Overall a great addition to the scene, especially for the salad fiends! More...
LOVE great full gardens! The food is so fresh and tasty. I've never eaten a bad meal here. My favorite is the grilled cheese!
I will always give someone and someplace a second chance. My last review was the worst it can get. However, as stated, back for a second go around. The food was delicious (Thanksgiving sandwich, yum) the service was fast and efficient. I will be back to try the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that it is still very expensive. Ok, I got it, they are located in a mall so the rent has to be extremely high. However, $20.00 dollars for a sandwich with a drink and a side (tip), is a little high. I still will go back for the people there are friendly and food is good. Just get something you don't make at home. More...
Just ate here earlier today. The food is great and the customer service is phenomenal. The burger I ordered along with soup is fresh and flavorful. I really enjoyed the burger the most. The server I had(forgot his name already sorry) is very friendly and easy to talk too. The decor is really something, meaning it looks really good. I like the paintings and the multi colored bottles with water in them. Overall, the experience is awesome. More...
My girlfriend and I go here so often that we are on a first name basis with one of the waiters. Shout out to Seth! You're awesome man.The food here is fantastic. I have tried a ton of things on the menu (VEGAN and NON-VEGAN) and have yet to be disappointed. My favorite is definitely the jackfruit tacos. I. Love. Them. It is a VEGAN dish that consists of 2 tacos on corn tortillas with jackfruit seasoned to perfection for the "meat" of the taco along with lettuce, shredded carrots and avocado. Next to the tacos are a mini salad with a scoop of salsa that I think is meant to go on the tacos but I just mix it into the salad. The plate also comes with beans and rice that are just as delicious. And on top of the beans and the tacos is drizzled a choice between a homemade cashew cream cheese or a jalapeno aioli. Both delicious. I recommend asking for a little of both when ordering the jackfruit tacos. The owners and staff are super friendly and outgoing which makes it easy to feel at home there. They are also very conscious of people's diet restrictions. So it's easy to know that you are in good hands if you are gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, paleo, you name it. They got you covered. Good food with large portions. Service is a little Jack Handy-ish.
Great food Great service.
Literally the best restaurant in Reno.
Fantastic restaurant with great staff. From Vegan to meat options, everything is fresh and delicious.

Amazing experience. Food was great, so was the service. And the conversation was great. We have cool friends.
I highly recommend Great Full Gardens for healthy food with a side of great service. Loads of options for paleo fans, vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free folks, and those just wanting clean, delicious food. We had an excellent experience there for both dinner and brunch recently and found the waitstaff friendly, proactive, and upbeat. You won't be disappointed! More...
Enjoyed my meal here while driving through. Fresh local fare - service was a little slow but the good eats more than made up for it (it was crowded too).
I have always enjoyed Greatful Gardens, the one in Midtown and inside UNR when I was a student. They had the best soups, sandwiches and most of all their quinoa salad! When I found this third location in South Reno, I had to check it out. This is not to be confused with the third Greatful Gardens location in South Meadows; this is the kitchen located on Longley! I was confused. When I went inside I was so lost cause there were no menus in sight or things to order from. A very friendly lady greeted me and told me that they do things differently at this location; basically they have a soup station, and a self-serve salad station. You can also order burritos and sandwiches too. This was different for me, but I was willing to try. I had their vegetarian chili, Shepherd's pie, and salad. They weigh your food for the price. The chili was good but a bit salty, the salad was very good with a good selection of dressings, and the Shepherd's Pie was very good. I noticed as I walked out that this place was Greatful Gardens Kitchen/market so that makes sense. Overall the food was good and I would recommend this place as a fast lunch or something healthy. Definitely recommend for vegetarians and vegans. More...
This is one of my weekend go to spots on the south side of town for some vegan lunch. They have plenty of options for whatever you are in the mood for. The black bean burger is good, the soup is outstanding. Try the vegan grilled cheese with a cup of tomato soup. The vegan reuban is a good choice if you are really hungry! The only thing I would like to see is that they should update the menu more. More...
Love their selection of healthy and delicious food! My favorite is the Turkey Pesto wrap. They have a salad bar and hot bar with rotating dishes that are posted on their Facebook page.
Just as good as the original. The servers are sweethearts, the coffee is perfect, the atmosphere is bright and cheerful and the food...Listen, when it comes to breakfast I love classic American breakfast options, but they are usually just too greasy or too sweet and rarely include the veggies I crave. Or they include a tiny smattering of sad wilty veggies. Sometimes I want a classic breakfast without the grease, or veggies with a little bacon. And I get tired of omelettes. Great Full Gardens covers all of it.My typical favorite is the Liege Benedict, but yesterday I branched out and tried the avocado toast and added egg and bacon. New. Favorite. Seriously, they source the bread and eggs locally, they don't skimp on radishes or pea shoots or avocado and the bacon is the good stuff and cooked right so it's chewy and not greasy. And because it had all the macro and micro nutrients I needed, I had lots of energy for the day.Lots of restaurants go for either hearty/greasy spoon OR healthy/vegan. It's rare that a restaurant specializes in healthIER options, while keeping some extras like bacon or waffles on the menu - and succeeds at both the healthy stuff and the indulgences. I really appreciate that as someone who tries to eat healthier and more plant based but isn't willing to completely give up meat and sweets. Extra perk with the South location? It's not as busy so I am always able to get a table.P.s. their breakfast is amazing, but I also recommend the sandwiches, soups, power bowls, bruschetta with cashew cheese... um... pretty much everything on the menu. You can't go wrong. More...
"The side of naners was superb! But my mom comes here for all the vegan options. Her favorite soup is the mushroom barely, best sandwich is the vegan Reuben, and you can never go wrong with the wasabi bowl - add tofu!!" Sincerely, Baby Kellan
Holy sh!t this place is amazing. Get the maple Maca latte with coconut milk, you will not regret!!
This was the first time I have been here. That being said, I will definitely be going back. The food was amazing! The staff were excellent! Our waitress even told us that the chefs changed their gloves before making my wife's food do to her allergy. They have food for every type of eating style. I highly recommend the Inca d'oro coffee, it has just the little bit of spice to give it an extra kick. Just delicious. More...
October 17th 1:30 pm lunch date with nick. Nick doesn't get out so I try to expand his horizons. It was his first time at great full gardens it was my first time at the South Reno location. I have to say this location is a lot bigger but still busy as always. The room is filled with bright colors and local art on the walls for purchase. Our server was very sweet and gave us a run down of their menu and the special of the day. It looked like they were short staffed this day as the wait for food was long. I ordered the grilled cheese with a side of tomato soup and nick ordered chicken teriyaki. Grilled cheese has pesto sauce sooo much gooey cheese and an heir loom tomato. The chicken teriyaki was good but nick only got a couple of pieces of chicken. He thought the presentation and taste were great overall but the portions were small for the price ( then again he eats for two). We will definitely be back :) More...
Went here with a group of 15 friends. They graciously accomodated us. Service was a little slow, but we were all visiting so it didn't matter. I tried the Matcha latte with almond milk- it was a large cup! I like matcha in small quantities. So, sadly I left about half of it. I tried the pupusa with chicken. Very tasty! It came with a Small salad on the side. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. They weren't able to split the check for couples, offered to split into 2 checks, but that wouldn't have helped much. We all just figured it out and pitched in. The tomato soup was especially enjoyed by many in our group. More...
Cheerful service, organic food with lots of vegan options. I especially like the warm kale salad or pollo piccata....with one of the unique, fresh kombucha blends like Meyer lemon raspberry.
This is one of my top 2 favorite restaurants in town! I'm dairy sensitive, so it's really nice that they cater to people with food sensitivities/allergies. There's not one thing I don't like on the menu, and pretty much everything is customizable to what you want. The staff is always so friendly and sweet! Great place to eat! More...
Went here for the first time yesterday for lunch and it was packed! We got seated fast though. I loved the different choices, no matter how you are eating they have something for you. Since I am trying to eat more paleo type food I got the double edge paleo bowl with salsa. It was delicious, my only complaint is that I am not coordinated enough to cut the tri-tip on a bed of kale but I made it work. The staff was nice and friendly and made sure that we were all happy with our meals which we were. More...
Wow!! Now that is what I call simple! This place is amazing! If you like great full Gardens You're gonna love this place! It's not a sit down restaurant.... it reminds me more of the hot and cold food options at whole foods... You know the area that you can go grab some hot food and a salad... Either eat there or take it to go, that's what it reminds me of.Super super easy to park! Seating outside,Window seating inside... clean, open and so inviting. The staff here is very knowledgeable about all things food! They understand what the meaning of vegetarian, pescatarian, vegan, gluten-free, food allergies and are sensitive and HAPPY about accommodating you. Sometimes when I going to restaurants I literally feel like I'm the bad guy because I want to customize my order to something that I can actually eat! These guys do a great job and ourSuper helpful and accommodating. When I went in for lunch on a Thursday around noon, they had vegan sandwiches, vegan soups, vegan shepherds pie and Vegan desserts! They also had plenty of normal stuff too! That's what I call diversity! For two helpings of a vegan sheepherders pie and a FBLT... Fake bacon lettuce and tomato it came to 22.00. It seems like they weigh the hot and cold items just like Whole Foods does... So depending on the weight of the food equals the amount that you pay. I think that's fantastic! My food was absolutely fantastic I would go back here again and again!! For something delicious and hot or delicious and cold, but something quick... This is definitely your spot! More...
Food is very healthy & delucipus if you are mostly a vegetarian, but alittle pricey but one pays for organic.....

Great food great service and healthy options. I love this place
Very delicious, clean vegan food. Many juices and hot beverage choices. Friendly, knowledgeable staff that will go the extra mile for you and answer any question about the nutritional content of your food. A little loud on busy days, but outdoor sitting is available and more chill. I've been here at least 15 times and never had to wait too long for the food, and never had a wrong order or something. My favorite place so far in Reno! More...
Brought a buddy of mine here post-Burn this year; he's a strict organic vegan. We ordered 4 entrées, and we're floored. Honestly, I was amazed at the combination and intricacy of flavor with every bite. The specialty drinks were superb as well. The staff, management, and even the owner were patient and took the time to talk with my friend regarding procurement and preparation of the food and ingredients. I'll definitely be adding this to my must eat places in Reno. More...

One of the best brunches in Reno, it is a little on the pricey side but the ingredients are typically local and organic if possible which makes up for the price.I highly recommend the turmeric or chai latte to start. The liege waffles are absolutely a must have an taste just as you would get on the street in Belgium. I love their twist on a huevos rancheros by adding a pupusa as the bottom layer. Their Paleo bowls are exceptional as well! The menu is very large so there's definitely something for everyone. More...

My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to go eat on his one hour lunch break. Decided to go here and it was packed. So we ordered to go and just ate outside. The staff were really friendly and the food was amazing and fresh. The ham sandwich was full of meat, the cobb salad was fresh, and the cheesy bruschetta was to die for. What a great little gem in the city of Reno that literally caters to all dietary needs, if you are vegetarian...they got you, vegan? they got you too! Carnivore? Not a problem :) Which makes it a great place to eat when some of your family is vegan! The tomato soup is probably my favorite, the turkey ruben is my second favorite and that grilled cheese is third but very close to 2nd place in my list of favorites.Reasonably priced, the staff is super friendly, never a super long wait and the food is always delicious :)Next time I am in Reno...I will be back :) More...
Had the soup of the day. "Chayote chowder". The soup was great! Staff was very friendly. Two issues.1) A headache to get into the complex. Don't blame the restaurant but it's probably the worst shopping plaza I have ever tried to get into.2) The portion of "Bowl" size is ridiculously small. If the portions get a bit bigger, I would raise to five stars. More...
Every time is a winner. Try the Liege Benedict it's so scrumptious. And you absolutely have to try the New Scalloped potatoes. WOW. Savory is the name of this plate with a hot of sweetness. Wasabi bowl - add the salmon. Just do it. You will love it! I was looking for a healthy place to eat since I am on a cleanse. Usually I don't go in for these earthy joints that offer vegan food...i expect them to be bland, and full of patchouli sweating hippies or hipsters. But this joint is nothing less than epic. First, get there before noon, or make a ressie. It's packed. Patrons are business colleagues, ladies who lunch, mommies with kids, friends after a spin class, college students, couples, elderly couples, you name it. Order a hot tea...it's loose leaf in your own pot, and about the same price as one Starbucks. I had the herbal one with cinnamon and clove....tastes like the old Good Earth Sweet n Spicy, but even better. The menu is huge. That's why I posted what i got first off since i was searching for what to order...for a while. My caveat was no dairy , no gluten (bread). I saw the bowls come out and they looked good...the Wasabi bowls had spinach, cucumber, tomato , avo, and rice..added the salmon, and it was just perfect. So tasty i wish i could have taken the rest home, but 8 hours and a plane ride later just wasn't an option. Seriously i only ate half, so you could split one of these and add a soup and an appetizer or something else yummy. I wish i had one of these in my 'hood in Cali. Seriously. I'll for sure be back here next time, and even when I'm off this cleanse. REally - that good. More...

Visited from Philadelphia and both times we were seated immediately, the food was fresh and delicious and the service was amazing too. Tried the jackfruit tacos, pureed eggplant & garlic soup and avocado toast and WOWW. All I can say is we will be back!P.s. Great atmosphere, plenty of beautiful scenery.
They have great food to satisfy all taste buds. What I like best are the great vegan entree options. You had better save room for dessert! I especially love the vegan cheesecake. More...
The jackfruit tacos are one of the best items on the menu hands down!!! They are classy. You would t believe it a vegan option. Thanks for having amazing food!
Really like Great Full Gardens! The menu is so yummy! The soups are fantastic!!!!!Great food, excellent staff and great surroundings makes this a five star eating place.
5 stars for good food, quality ingredients, and great service. I'm not sure how it took me this long to write a review for my beloved GFG. There are many things I love about Great Full Gardens! The food is always prepared with high quality (and usually local) ingredients; the menu caters to a variety of dietary restrictions (V/GF/DF); the food is consistently good with each visit; each menu offering is unique and offers delightful flavors. I've tried most of the menu at this point and have never been disappointed. Just a small handful of my favorites: Wasabi Bowl, Jackfruit Tacos, Warm Kale Salad, Garden Breakfast, Fiesta Bowl, Pizza A La Bizmark, Farmer's Market, Terrific Turkey Pesto on naan... and my list can probably go on for much longer. Each waiter/waitress I've had has been delightful and helpful. Some tips: you can call in and take your order to go; they have a soup of the day that changes every day; you can buy their soups in frozen containers; they have a happy hour from 3:00-6:00 M-F with half off appetizers, $5 sangria's, and other beer/wine discounts. Spending the night in Reno, I happen to see Great Full Gardens on the way to my hotel. Always looking for a healthy option when it comes to food while traveling. I was pleasantly surprised viewing the choices on their menu. I decided on the Paleo Bowl with Mary's Organic Chicken. This meal exceeded my expectations! It was carefully crafted with some of the freshest veggies I have ever eaten in a restaurant. Flavorful, fresh and just what I needed. Many grateful thanks to the chef who came up with the idea for this restaurant. This will be my go to stop every time I travel through Reno. More...
Excellent food! So many healthy options. This place is always busy it seems, but still maintain excellent service!
Now we are talking! It's one thing to open a theme restaurant trying to attract that "in" crowd, and is a totally different thing to actually pull it off. I had a great breakfast!I got the eggs fritita style with bacon and three vegies with chedder. This would be my only warning, they use a pretty healthy amount of cheese. So if you're not a big cheese enthusiest go light. I also got the multi grain bread and it came with some potatoes that were tasty. The coffee was good, the breakfast was good and as Arnold says, "I'll be back." More...
It's got a unique menu and can accommodate ppl who are gluten-free/Vegan/Vegetarian. Yet still has regular options. Everything tastes fresh and they have delicious lemonade!
