Working for them makes me feel that I am a part of a big team, that supports and encourages my self-confidence ! I have come to the conclusion that, they have figured out the recipe of success. Since joining in August 2018, I've have come to realise how incredible BaxterStorey is, all the way from kitchen porter to senior members of staff. Everyone has an unbelievable passion and work ethic towards delivering local fresh produce to a level of standard that is uncomparable. I have been fortunate enough to have met extremely talented chefs at many different locations and different events. Personally I have had several different opportunities working different projects and charity events. This company have allowed me to develop immensly in a work sense, but also in my personal life. The balance between working hard and enjoyment is amazing. One example being whilst helping out at one of our many food festivals, which shows off our produce and the food and beverage on offer from our suppliers. The mixture of meeting people, providing a quality service and enjoying what was on offer. The training courses are to a brilliant standard, and the development team is one of the cores to the business. Working around the clock to ensure that everything runs smoothly around our sites and then also teaching our staff so that the quality is as good as it can be. The latest trends are always being adapted to the season, such as "VEGAN"uary which is foccusing on the ground popularity of veganism. I couldn't recommend BaxterStorey more. This has been the most enjoyable experience so far and it has only just began. Bring on 2019. #welovethisbusiness More...

I've worked for BaxterStorey for the last two years, and initially joined on the graduate scheme. I am now working in a role that i have built up for myself, and this is purely down to them giving me the opportunity to grow and develop - but also trusting and supporting me in using my strengths and finding me a role best suited to me. Its a company where you are appreciated for being an individual and not simply for filling a vacancy. More...

Progressing from the graduate scheme into a role that I love within the business, I have encountered a supportive network of managers throughout that helped me develop. BaxterStorey is extremely keen to help its teams grow by offering good development, training opportunities and creative freedom across all levels. Seeing different and unique locations within the business, tasting delicious seasonal food and a fresh cup of coffee was always constant as the company is always looking to introduce the latest food trends for their customers. Another perk of the job is that it offers a good work-life balance with either flexible work or having weekends off which is not particularly common in the hospitality industry but definitely a great perk to have! I recommend BaxterStorey! More...

Having recently joined Baxterstorey on the graduate scheme, in the autumn of 2018, I have had first hand experience of what a fantastic company this is. I have had many incredible opportunities to be involved in so many great projects, meeting and working with talented employees from all over the world, sampling the amazing food & drinks we produce on a daily basis, whilst also having that much needed work/life balance. The job also offers me the freedom to be creative and innovative in the workplace whilst also learning so much about the ever-growing hospitality industry, with the fantastic training and development schemes in place for the graduate programme. Definitely excited for the future with Baxterstorey. More...

Starting work with BaxterStorey on a graduate program and then progressing into a role that suits me, my time with the company has been very positive. With so many opportunities ranging from office roles to catering and management roles it was an easy decision to stay after my graduate program finished. The incredible work life balance and having weekends off within the hospitality industry is seldom seen so that’s a big benefit! But also the companies desire to foster creativity and encourage training, development and progression has been outstanding so I would definitely recommend BaxterStorey! More...

I've been working for BaxterStorey for almost 5 years, and have continually been surprised by how well my personal development opportunities have been presented and managed. My managers have always identified next steps for me and supported me in achieving my goals at work. I have a great work/life balance, and feel like I can talk to my colleagues when I need support whether that's about something personal or some advice or guidance in the office. I like working for a company that values its team members and its customers, and has an inspiring ethos when it comes to local produce and sustainability. Training is really important to me, and I know I can speak to my manager if there's an internal or external course that I feel would benefit my development and help me to do my job better - I don't think I would get the same openness and opportunities in another business. All in all I've had a really positive experience with BaxterStorey. More...

This is a small Cardiff branch of the global public affairs consultancy Grayling. Though there are no more than five members in the team, they are experts in the field of welsh politics, and are held in high regard throughout the UK. Their office is ideally situated in the 2 Caspian Point building in the heart of Cardiff Bay, thus guaranteeing that close links are kept between themselves and the Senedd (The National Assembly of Wales building). This additionally ensures that team members can attend assembly committees, and First Ministers' questions on behalf of their clients at ease. Finally I would just like to add that through my own experiences with Grayling, I've found the Cardiff team to be incredibly friendly and very easy to get on with (very important qualities). More...
