Told tee time 0800 when we turned up shop was shut opened at 0825 then instead of apologising got told we must of got the time wrong started the day bad but the course was in good condition and the greens ok

I started having lessons with Graham earlier this year, after 20 years off golf, and couldn’t be happier. Graham gives really simple golf instruction and explains really clearly the reasons for any swing tweaks he suggests. Graham’s also helped me with buying (second hand) equipment from Golf Bidder and has regripped my existing set of irons. Graham’s often pretty busy teaching, so I’d recommend booking at least a few days in advance. This is just a testament to how good he is and how many people trust him and like working with him. Being able to book lessons online is really useful too. Whatever you’re a newcomer to the game or an expert, I can’t recommend Graham highly enough. Great deal £23 four around of golf buggy and breakfast the only thing that let it down were the greens very slow and of Poor quality would have give it 5 star only four that.

Was a bit apprehensive after reading all the bad reviews but I've played far worse. Great views over the wirral and into liverpool. A picturesque course, especially with the sun shining and the birds singing. The course was quite busy despite all the poor reviews it gets. The staff were very friendly. Booked it on golf now and for £14 a round I'm not grumbling. Paid triple that for municipal courses in far worse condition. More...

It’s a wonderful venue, overlooking the River Mersey Estuary, with a very friendly atmosphere. The golf course, like many, has had its troubles particularly over the last two winters - possibly because it is always kept open with no buggy bans whatever the weather conditions - however I played it on Thursday and also a month ago and was delighted to see a continued course improvement; I never once had to improve my lie on Thursday! Great to see the work that is going on the course; freshly raked bunkers, protective roped off areas, topped dressed greens (my playing partner still managed 5 birdies... and lost to this bandit!) - we will be back soon! Long open course, a few tricky holes. Reasonable price. The bars a bit expensive but the staff are lovely. Need to go again in the summer months to see what it's like. I definetly advise to get a buggy
