We are a London based tree company and undertake works for residential and commercial clients. Each of our five teams comprises of tree surgeons, groundsmen and consultants.

After arriving late the team couldn’t complete the works as they had forgotten to bring a stump grinder. So I called co-owner Adam, who agreed to send a grinder. A few days later I received neighbours contact regarding huge branches (some 6ft & heavy) falling from the cut trees. I also noticed that most of the stumps had not been removed, so Adam agreed a date to rectify this. The team did not arrive. I called Adam who then said it would be easier if they could come another day & said he would call me back shortly. I waited 3 hrs but he didn’t call. So I called & was spoken to rudely by a lady on the phone. Feeling angered by this point, Adam then turned nasty & refused to rectify the works when I mentioned I asked advice from his professional membership body. He said he would come between 8-9 the next morning to collect the branches only. There was no sign of the team. So I called Adam & learnt he cancelled & had no intention of coming. Great professional team. They came to reduce a pear tree in the garden and did a very good job. They knew what to cut or not cut for the tree to recover from the trauma of the reduction. They had to move some pots in precaution and put back everything in place, and the cleaning has been really good. It has been almost has if they never came. Had my drone stuck on a tree at AONB park ( in the middle of nowhere, or box hill to be exact) at ~35 m height above the river. Tried to retrieve it for hours with significant risk to be injured and no luck. Call for firefighters ( even they told me they are going to charge me) - they could not do it. Then I found GraftinGardens website and called them... At 20:30... On Saturday!! The guy came in no time, climbed the tree and retrieved my drone. It was the coolest man act I’ve ever seen. This was the second time that I have used GraftinGardeners for tree pruning and the experience was even better than last time in April 2017. They turned up on time, were friendly, polite, hardworking and clearly skilled. Nothing was too much trouble, they appeared happy for me to review their progress as they worked, and ask for adjustments to the extent of pruning being undertaken. At the end of their work they cleared up thoroughly, checked that I was happy with the work undertaken and when I asked for the invoice to be emailed rather than posted, it was sent promptly, matched the quote and was the same price as the last time. Excellent job and thoroughly recommend Ian. Had 2 huge trees at the back of a property I rent out. Gave Ian a google map image as it required access via the back fence on an obscure back road and I live in Newcastle! He found it - removed the trees - tidied up - put back the fence- didnt bother the tenants and completed the job within 2 weeks of me requesting it. Excellent work by Adam and his team, he managed to obtain permission from the council as all the trees in the area are protected , all work was done with great care and skill to avoid damage to garden and surrounding property, the garden was left super clean and tidy especially considering the size of the tree, even the old leaves cleared up and neighbours have all commented on a job well done and extra light. We used Graftin Gardeners for removing the silver birch from our garden. They worked very efficiently and arranged a visit by tree surgeon on my first call and sent a quote post that. Since we had to move the dates once they were very accommodating and clarified all our doubts about the process. The work was done with precision and care for other plants in the garden.
