After having 4 years out of my desired industry and a keen interest to move cities, I had spent months applying for jobs without success, causing my confidence to deteriorate. I found GC/Chris online, and after sending over my CV, it only took one conversation to recognise how much he believed in me. I went to Graduate Coach knowing the area I wanted to build a career in, but with no idea on how to go about starting it. Working with them we were able to rebrand my CV, producing a skills audit to help me understand and promote my key abilities and achievements . Utilising the audit they supported me as I wrote applications and cover letters, ensuring I was able to clearly demonstrate my soft and hard skills to potential employers. When I first met Chris he helped not only look for jobs but also helped me work out what profession I would be hood at and enjoy. After we had worked this out he then helped look for and apply for jobs. He helped me reinvent my CV so it looked very professional and gloomed me highlight my previous achievements. I approached Graduate Coach after my graduation as I felt as though I needed some guidance and support in my job hunt. Chris made me realise what my strengths were and what I actually wanted to do. Chris was an enormous to help to me when I decided on an early change in career. His understanding of the graduate job market is second to none.

I originally approached him simply for help with a presentation which I was due to make at a graduate assessment centre, however the help he gave me was above and beyond what I had been expecting. Not only did he help with my presenting skills, he provided me with articles and information around the topic to help stand out from other candidates.

In addition to this he helped me streamline my applications and really understand what recruiters were looking for. He was relentless in making useful introductions to recruiters and directors within the marketing world to help me find a way into the right job.

I can't speak highly enough of the work Chris Davies did to help me get to my next role. From my previous experience, traditionally recruiters often try to force you into roles similar to the experience you have but not the job you really want.

With Chris we took a step back, he identified the skills I have, suggested various positions, industries and career paths I I would find of interest and created a concrete platform for me to build upon.

From that point he suggested various job sites to look at, recruitment companies to reach out to and various blogs and articles to read in order to expand my industry knowledge base.

After sending out applications Chris was there each step of the way, preparing me and directing me so I felt confident walking into each step of the interview process.

I fortunately managed to quickly find a position suited to me and one that I was happy with. I put this down to the work Chris did and have already recommended him and his company to many of my friends.

Chris Davies and I worked together at Graduate Coach where I worked as a Marketing Assistant. Working with Chris Davies was a great experience.
