I could not be more impressed with this catering service. They were constantly in communication with me, they showed up on time, they help set up when they did not have to, and the food was delicious. We had very little left over, everyone really enjoyed the food. By far the absolute Best Customer Service and Food!  I coordinate several events throughout the year for  a staff of 130, and I cannot began to explain how incredibly happy I am to have  met Carolina (owner) last year. She has made my  life so much easier by not having to worry  about food. So this review is LONG over due but I did want to say THANK YOU to Gourmet Lovers Catering for helping me with my wedding. Carolina was amazing shes passionate about her work which really shows when you talk to her. She helps you figure things out when you're not sure how things should go. When we did our tasting she didnt rush us at all and let me and my then fiance take our time to decide what we liked most. She was really flexible with our schedules as well even it was just for a payment she was there for us. We ended up getting a naked vanilla cake with the raspberry filling with berries all around which was delicious! For dinner we did chicken picata, mixed veggies and strawberry salad which was also delicious  price wise it was a really good deal, the cake was free except for the berries on top but still though how often do you get a free wedding cake with your dinner package?! These guys were awesome! I'm an Event Coordinator for an HOA Community and put on a Casino Night for about 150 people. Everybody raved about the food and how delicious it was! Gourmet Lovers Catering did an amazing job for our wedding. FIVE STARS!!! My wife and I tried several catering options - we loved the food tasting with GLC and we know we made the right decision to go with their services. They were always professional, punctual and polite to work with. Their food presentation is beautiful and the food was delicious. This is a quality business that makes quality food and I am happy to give them a shining review. I worked in restaurants for over 15 years and I know how challenging it can be to get 180 people fed with plates going out while the food is hot all at once. The people at GLC are all-stars in the industry. The service staff was incredible, they dressed professionally, looked clean, they kept the tables bussed after each course and everything went off without a hitch, everything was flawless and the food was incredible. I was so happy we picked Gourmet Lovers Catering to cater for my 50th Birthday Party last night!  Since it was a dance party, we ordered a variety of appetizers, cake an a couple of mini desserts, and couldn't have been happier with the turnout. <br><br>Carolina was the most helpful in the planning process, helping with my selections, making suggestions on popular items and identifying gluten free options for some guests, adjusting quantities, as well as helping with table and linen rentals.  She even had a great recommendation for a bartender!  Carolina was always available for questions, changes, very professional, and made the process very painless.<br><br>Boris and his team arrived on time and the setup was very smooth.  The servers were very attentive and kept passing trays, making sure everyone was offered an array of appetizers.  The selections were very tasty and we all really enjoyed them.  The only thing I would have liked different was for some items that were tray passed to be served on little plates rather than grabbed, such as the stuffed mushrooms which can get a little messy.  But otherwise service was flawless.<br><br>The cake and mini dessert cups were amazing!  I send a very rough design of the cake I wanted to Carolina, and they executed it beyond my expectations!  And it was delicious! (we picked marbled cake with chocolate ganache and italian meringue icing).  I should have stuck to Carolina's initial suggestion of just a 1/2 sheet for 50 guests a lot of guests don't eat cake (pity :) so the extra 1/4 sheet I decided to order just in case was too much.  Good thing I love cake!  The mini s'mores and banana fosters were very popular.  Carolina even agreed to make the s'mores gluten free.<br><br>The 2 servers Sofia and Gustavo were amazing, making sure we always had what we needed throughout the evening.  They even helped us tear down, clean up and organize everything once the party was over.  It was such a treat! Where do I begin? Gourmet Lovers is AMAZING! We got married 2/23/19 with 110 guests. I had narrowed it down to 2 catering companies and decided to go with Gourmet even before trying the food because Carolina treated us like we were family. She was always available by email and phone. She worked with our budget.  She made it such a stress free process!  <br><br>She even made time for us the day before Thanksgiving to meet with her and go over a tentative plan for the wedding. And even though the holiday season is crazy, Carolina and her husband made time for us to do a tasting BEFORE Christmas!! One of the best decisions I made was having Gourmet Lovers Catering cater my wedding. Every single thing was delicious! We received so many compliments that day on the tastiness of the passed appetizers and the delicious dinner. My now-husband and I were in heaven at the food trial. It was so hard to decide on our final dishes since everything was great. Our dinner was actually one of the main things I was looking forward to at our wedding :)<br><br>I also cannot speak highly enough of Carolina's professionalism and flexibility. After having such a great experience (and great prices) with Gourmet Lovers for my parent's 40th anniversary, they were my go to once I was engaged to be married.  I had them do appetizers, cupcakes and punch for 250 people at my church and then a separate full family dinner for 95 people.  Absolutely everything was wonderful!  My aunt had 4 cupcakes and didn't even make it to all the 3 different types of cupcakes!  Apparently the ones she tasted were too good to move on from.  The cupcakes and the cake were very moist and tasted just amazing.  The food was also very flavorful and done just perfectly and the service was great.  I am very happy with Carolina (the baker) and her husband Boris (the chef).  I gave up more control for my wedding than I did for my parent's anniversary and I wasn't disappointed at all...and I was much less nervous.  As before, I would highly recommend this company.  I plan on having Carolina make a small cake for our 1 year anniversary because the top tier that was supposed to be saved didn't make it through the week :-) More...

We hired them for our wedding cake and some appetizers. They are so easy to work with and prices are really good. Many of our guests were jealous of us because of the savings we got yet we had the best cake ever! ! My wife is very picky and she is also a control freak. She wanted every details to be of her own so my wife took pictures from the internet and "build" her own cake design. I wish I could give them 10 stars !<br>From the first moment we spoke to Carolina, about an in home party with sit down dinner for 30, she had it covered !  This was just before the Christmas Holiday  that we were planning and we wanted the party just after Christmas. Even through the craziness of the holidays for them, Carolina stayed in touch with me to make sure we covered all of the details. Chef Boris was wonderful He stayed to plate and help serve our meal. I got my best friend's bridal shower cake from this location and let me tell you it was the greatest. I set up an appointment with Joana and she was awesome. I told her how I wanted the cake and it came out exactly as planned and even more beautiful than I expected. Not to mention she delivered it to the venue the day of! I contacted at least 9 catering companies for an event for 150 people taking place in two weeks and Gourmet Lovers was by far the best! <br><br>Customer Service: Carolina the co-owner, contacted me with in minutes of me sending a request through yelp. She answered all my questions sent me all the information I needed and followed up promptly. She accommodated all my requests although it was a last minute event and gave me suggestions for the menu and time line of the event. <br><br>Service: Carolina put together appetizers, dinner, waiters and the bar tender service which saved a lot of time and it made everything super easy. Their set up was beautiful and we got a ton of compliments. The waiters were amazing, very professional, hard working, polite and organized. The bartender was personable and new how to make every drink posible including a virgin mango pineapple drink that was delicious.<br><br>The food: this was the best part! Everyone loved the food, we got comments from many of our guests about how much they loved the food. Everything was absolutely delicious. I recommend the quesadilla as an appetizer, the roast and Chipotle mash potatoes for dinner. I wish they had a restaurant so I could go eat there every day! <br><br>Price: The price was extremely reasonable for the quality of food, absolutely worth it. This is long overdue but I had the pleasure of hiring Carolina and her husband to do my cake and appetizers for my wedding and let me tell you guys they we're nothing short of amazing. Working with both Carolina and her husband was so smooth they were able to accommodate with my busy work schedule and quick to answer all my questions( and trust me guys I had a lot). When speaking to Carolina over the phone I mentioned to her that my husband loves bananas and she was able to come up with a banana cake that completely blew his mind.(and we had already tried serval other place but this one won him hands down).I would highly recommend them for any event. We hired Gourmet Lovers Catering for our wedding that was on July 23, 2016, honestly nothing but AMAZING!!!. From the very first contact till the very day of the event, everything went smoothly, everyone was on top of everything and Carolina and Boris were always attentive and making sure that we were worried free for our special day. When we first contacted Gourmet Lovers Catering, Carolina was very quick to respond and be at our services in any way possible. Both Carolina and Boris are so very down to earth, sweet and beyond helpful. With Carolina's great customer service, we knew that we definitely had to set up a food tasting in which I still remember her exact words were "come hungry" and let me tell everyone who is reading this that she is not kidding!! :). The food trial was very, very impressive. Personally I am a person who admires presentations and if I do not see quality presentations it is a turnoff but Gourmet Lovers blew us away!!! One of the best presentations and food tastings that we had experienced when trying to find catering for our wedding. Both Carolina and Boris were very welcoming, so welcoming that we pretty much felt like family. The presentation was beautiful for being just a tasting they went above and beyond. The quality, freshness and taste of the food was beyond words, all the food that was tasted literally melted in your mouth. Everything that was tasted was delicious. We ended up choosing the Marsala Chicken. After the tasting, Carolina was constantly available all the time in case anything changed or any questions needed to be answered. Just everything was great, it was perfect. The day of our wedding, all of our guests loved the food that guests were going back for seconds. Their staff was amazing. During the whole night, we had a personal server attending to our every need (I apologize but we do not remember his name but he was super sweet and beyond helpful, Carolina and Boris if you can remember the gentleman please tell him a big thank you from us). Gourmet Lovers did the catering for our small backyard wedding last month, and there was not one thing that I could imagine they could have done better! They were clean, organized, and friendly, the food and cake was amazing! Gourmet Lovers Catering is truly as good as it gets! Our wedding planner found Gourmet Lovers and hooked us up with Carolina. She works on the customer service end, and her husband is the chef. Carolina was so easy to work with, and we were able to find a great menu solution for our budget and fancy tastes! The best part is that our cake was free with the catering services! Carolina used to work in a bakery and makes decadent cakes. Although, she charged us a little extra, because we wanted a very detailed extravagant design. However, it still saved us over $500!
