We have loved The Gourmet Cupcake Shoppe since we discovered it over a year ago. Every one of their desserts have been amazing and we LOVE that they have gluten free options. When we got engaged there was no debate on who to use for our wedding cake. Not only did we have an abundance of compliments from guests about delicious cake and mini cupcakes we also didn't have to worry about a thing. Lupe kept in contact with us and they delivered all the cupcakes, setting them up on site without needed us there. We will continue to be regulars and will be back next year for an anniversary cake! I recently placed an order for my cousins baby shower, the way from Southern California. The communications was handled so professionally. The pricing was very reasonable and upfront. This particular time, their store was having some sort of issue. And Audry delivered my goodies to me, just to ensure they are not exposed to anything we wouldn't want to smell or eat. I have visited and lived in Michigan many times. I have always wanted to try this place and it surpassed all my expectations!. Their food is sinful in the best way!. I had their Motown Truffle. Audrey at the Bay City location is WONDERFUL! I work in Mount Pleasant and live in Clare so getting to Bay City is darn near impossible for me. Over the phone Audrey helped me pick out a half dozen cupcake flavors for a surprise delivery. She then personally hand delivered them to a downtown business the next day for a great birthday treat/surprise. The people-centered philosophy the owners take is great and it really shows in the quality of service their employees give. Gourmet cupcake shop made and delivered a dessert table full of cakes, pies and cookies for my sons graduation party. Delivery was wonderful and it took one more stress off of me on a already emotional day! But the desserts themselves were devoured! I received compliments on everything they made.... I was sad that the pies went so fast I did not get to try the cherry.... but was told it was phenomenal! The cookies were a huge hit! The peanut butter bars lasted 2 seconds!
