This is a must tour for any GOT fan with the unique opportunity to meet Thor & Odin (Grey Wind & Summer) the Direwolves in the show. Just amazing! It is a family run business with all members being extras in GOT & part of the film industry. You get so much inside knowledge & insight into the filming of GOT. Andrew our guide was fun and had so many stories & memories to share from being part of GOT since series 5. There is a lot of walking and comfortable shoes & water are definitely needed. PSA : GoT Direwolves run a fantastic/brilliant/heartbreaking/amazing walking location tour of The North (Winterfell, I was in Winterfell. ..!).. and I say heartbreaking for two reasons, the first because it's all over now and there's a lot of reminiscing and secondly because there's a lot of walking and I'm dramatic. I jest. It's not for the faint of heart but it's good for the soul. A lot of laughs / chats / banter. All of their tour guides have been in the show and have great stories to tell (thanks @remshore ) Also worth mentioning is the lunch stop in a great pub (Maghera Inn) with delicious food and a cheeky Guinness. And last but absolutely certainly not at all least, The Direwolves themselves is a lovely part of the tour (the best part) and great to chat with House Mulhall who've worked with GoT since the start. I could go on but there's only one way to know and that's to actually go and do it. I even met people who've never watched the show but get to see places maybe they never would and are so breathtaking, sure why not?! 5 stars and beyond from me. 100% will be back. My tour guide was Eric and he was amazing. He was full of energy ,funny and gave us some insight how the show was. Meeting the Got Direwolves was a big plus. I loved hearing the back story on how they got to be on film. I also was able to purchase a Direwolves t- shirt. Let's face it, there a loads of Game of Thrones tours on the Emerald Isle and I did a couple of them - but there's only one that truly stood out and that's this one! ! I enjoyed myself so much, that I flew in twice from Paris just for this tour - and both times it was fantastic - great itinerary, Andrew - also an extra on the show and our guide both times - a very knowledgeable, genuine and funny guy managed even to make us forget about the liquid sunshine that we partly got in abundance and introduced us to different interesting shooting locations...Andrew, thanks to you I will never see trees the same way again :D After having roamed beautiful landscapes and sites and a nice lunch, we got to meet Will - also an extra on the show - and his beautiful dogs Odin and Thor, on the second tour we even got to meet Will's dad who himself was a Dothraki slave master for some time :) The entire family is spectacular in every possible way and getting to cuddle the dogs is a real treat! The wee hour hiking around 'Winterfell', well Castle Ward, rounded up the perfect day. Difficult to get back to Belfast afterwards and back to reality...would do it again in a heartbeat!! More...

Exceeded expectations! Saw so many locations and meeting the dire wolves was fantastic. Me and my Girlfriend did the Direwolf tour on 1st May as a belated Christmas present and the 5 month wait was more than worth it. The filming locations are surrounding area is stunning,the tour Guide Remi who was Greyworms double on the show was fantastic and his enthusiasm for the show clearly shines through which makes it a much more personal experience as it feels like talking to another fan rather than a tour guide.(Finding out he lived in a small town about 10 miles from me in England was a nice little bonus).Pictures do not do Odin and Thor justice,they are simply stunning animals and a pleasure to be around.We shall definitely be returning to do the Dragon Tour at a later date and probably do the Direwolf tour again at the same time.I'm sure there are many Thrones tours around Belfast but if you want to hear personal stories from on screen knowledgeable extras who have been there from the start then look no further.Cannot recommend highly enough. My partner got tickets for the Dragon Tour which took us to various filming locations in beautiful Northern Ireland including the Kings Road & Dragon stone. The tour guides were fantastic, very knowledgeable & very entertaining about Game of Thrones as they were all in multiple episodes including season 8.
