Goss & Hermeyer Photography is the first professional photographer we have ever used, and they were amazing! We had pictures taken for our first wedding anniversary, my husband and I with our three small dogs at two different locations. Jenny was awesome with our dogs, getting down to their level and saying hi to each of them by their name, which made me extremely happy! They are our babies and part of our family, and Jenny treated them as such. Jenny was also very patient with all of us, she took the time to get the pictures right and made great suggestions. We loved our family photo shoot with Chris! She was great with my kids (ages 8, 6) and really made them feel comfortable, which allowed for their personalities to show through in our pictures. For us, quick and painless was important for our busy schedules, and also for our sometimes difficult to photograph 6 year old. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Great photographs tell a story. They capture emotion or showcase the connection between the subjects. When we fall in love with something we've shot, it is because it moves us on a personal or emotional level, and that is our goal with our clients. We want you to see the sweet way your fiancé holds your elbow as you walk together, or the way your little one grabs on to your finger for the first time. Great photographs bring you back into the moment.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What are your goals with this session? What is one secret thing I should know about every person involved in the shoot that will get them to genuinely laugh or smile?
What do you love most about your job?
We love meeting new people and sharing some of the sweetest moments of their lives with them.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We were inspired by documenting our own families. People started asking us to do the same for them, and from there it grew into a business.
Wedding Photography
We have packages raging from 4 hours to 10 hours. All of our packages include two photographers and digital galleries and have options for engagement sessions and print products.
