Ryan was awesome! We had no idea what to expect for our wedding day music needs and he made the process fun and easy. We went back and forth on music preferences until he was sure he knew the vibe we were going for. For our ceremony, Ryan played instrumental guitar and really made the setting magical. Ryan was an absoulte pleasure to work with at a wedding this past weekend! He arrived early, had a great set up including up lighting, kept the dance floor busy and was great entertainment and talent for the wedding. Highly recommend him!

I never write reviews, but Ryan is worth it. As others have said, Ryan is professional and very easy to work with. We had our wedding at Mt Hood Organic Farms and he was recommended to us from others at the venue. From the questionnaire to the on-the-phone meetings (we planned from a distance), Ryan had everything thoughtfully laid out and we felt well taken care of in the lead up to the wedding. Day of, Ryan is the full package. He played wonderful live music for the ceremony, and crushed it as DJ during the reception. We had a few special requests that he was easily able to accommodate. We hired Gorge Wedding Music for our ceremony and reception. The music during the ceremony was everything we had hoped for and then some. We had some pretty specific music requests and the musician just nailed them, made the ceremony very special for my spouse and I. We also used their sound equipment for the reception as we had a friend dj for us. Ryan was awesome to work with throughout the process and made sure we were all set up for a flawless evening. We hired Gorge Wedding Music for our wedding in Portland. Ryan performed live acoustic guitar/vocals for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and then DJed for our reception. Ryan was always responsive, professional, and helpful during our wedding planning process. We did an on-site meeting with him at our wedding venue so that he could get familiar with their facilities. He learned a couple songs that we requested for our ceremony and had a questionnaire for us to fill out for our music preferences during the reception. On our wedding day, Ryan got to the venue early so that he had plenty of time to load in and setup. He also provided a wireless mic for our officiant. Ryan at Gorge Wedding Music was INCREDIBLE for our wedding at Tin Roof Barn on 7/14/18!!! He went above and beyond to make our day PERFECT! The ceremony and reception music went off without a hitch! He also played the most beautiful live music during our ceremony that really added a intimate touch! Our wedding day has been a blast; part of the credits goes to Ryan. Ryan took care of the entertainment including the DJing, the lights, sound for the ceremony and he did it so well we forgot he was even there. We asked him to perform lives songs for the procession as well as our first song; he is a great artist and aced it (as in every one was deeply touched). Foremost he put us first, required very limited guidance to "get us". His selection of music had the dance floor buzzing without interruption with dancers age 3 to 83. Ryan has taught both Victor & Tsadiku for nearly 2 years how to play various instruments including the acoustic guitar, ukulele, drums, electric guitar, and the electric bass. He is patient, kind, and encouraging. Ryan's ability to meet the boys where they are and bring them to the next level musically is noteworthy. I believe in the many benefits music has to offer and I value its inherent worth.
