I have used this company on two occasions and have them scheduled for a 3rd time in June of 2024. We had Julien for our DJ both times. He was fun, engaging, (he danced and sang with us) and was so professional. Both times he was punctual (first time I wasn't as I was out riding my horse haha) Mark the owner has excellent communication skills and great follow up! Working with DJ Mark for our wedding was a delight. He was professional, experienced, and handled logistics with ease. My husband and I hired Mark for our September 16 wedding and what can I say, he was Fantastic! He made sure throughout the entire process that I was informed if I had any questions. WOW! My husband and I were blown away by DJ Mark Power. Mark DJ'ed our wedding in April 2022 and he was an absolute joy. From our very first phone call, Mark was nothing short of professional. He was responsive and kind throughout the whole process. His playlist builder and online planner were both easy to use- he really made sure that every single song we requested was played! When dinner was running behind, he was super communicative and flexible with me and with the restaurant manager about shifting the timing of toasts and dancing. DJ Mark even busted some moves with our crew on the dance floor! He felt the fun vibes of our group and we LOVED that!! Mark worked with me and my husband to stay for an extra hour and keep the good time rolling. All of our guests loved him and asked us, where did you find this guy?! We needed a last minute karaoke rental 4 days before my huge 40th Bday party and Mark responded immediately to my inquiry online. We wanted the large speakers, microphones and a system that was easy to use and he was very reassuring with his vast knowledge of the karaoke industry and equipment so that I was assured we'd have a great selection of songs to choose from that sounded just like the original instrumentals! He was also readily available for us to pick up and drop off the equipment to make it super easy for us! Hiring flawless design is easily one of the best business decisions I've made to date. They were able to take my vision for a website to connect Broncos fans around the world and bring it to life (with a speedy turnaround) and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. I do highly recommend the monthly maintenance (which I have) because wordpress is constantly doing updates and when the site needs updating flawless stays on top of it and sends you a lot of useful marketing analytics as well. We hired Mark for our wedding day, to provide audio starting before our ceremony until the end of our reception. From the moment we spoke on the phone, we knew we were in the hands of a professional. His music library is EXTENSIVE, but it was fun to have full say over which songs were played and which weren't, and we've been told that our wedding music was some of the best our guests had heard!

What was especially wonderful was, for my super-non-traditional bride-processional song, he was able to splice together an instrumental portion to create a completely seamless arrangement that actually came in handy, since I wound up at the altar a few seconds later than expected, and the music garnered a standing ovation - I kid you not!

Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to hire Mark or any of his team members for a future event. From handling microphone placement to introductions to speeches, he maintained a lighthearted professionalism that kept myself and my husband at ease. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would! More...

I engaged Mark Power of Goodtime DJs to provide the music for my daughter’s February, 2014 wedding reception at the City Club in San Francisco. The result was outstanding. We had a group of about 225 people for cocktails, dinner and post-dinner revelry. Mark provided music for each of those three segments.

I found Mark in the usual way – by searching for DJs online. In the process, I discovered that a lot of pretty flaky people promote themselves as experienced DJs. However, many seem to lack basic disciplines and courtesies such as returning calls and emails – making it difficult to trust them to show up and do a good job for an event as important to me as my daughter’s wedding. However, Mark stood out as just the opposite. He returned calls, met commitments, provided a succinct but comprehensive engagement letter and most important, on the night of the event, he arrived ahead of time, was fully prepared, dressed well and knew his stuff on the sound and music side. Although price wasn’t the driving factor for this event, his charges were very reasonable for what he provided and the quality of his work. Basically – he is a real professional both as a DJ and as a businessman.
Mark has a very large music collection of all sorts. I also collect and had some specific preferences for the music to be played. He has a very efficient system for exchanging information on what to include in the play list. We had a multi-generation group of family and guests and Mark had something for everyone. He understands the subtleties of music for a party – which songs are good for dancing, which are not, how many fast songs to play vs how many slow songs, how to get the party going and keep it going, etc.

The final bonus is that Mark is a great singer. He has a wide range of songs he will sing. He did 5 or 6 for our group and they were great. A real talent.

If I need a DJ for another party, Mark Power will be the first and only person I call.
