Jackie really knows her german shepherds, the puppy she chose for us is exactly what we wanted. Trixie is from the Leila/Baron litter of July 29, 2013 and is healthy, happy,gentle and doing very well in her training classes. ..most important of all she really good with my boys!

Jackie was excellent and our Cockapoo puppy progressed pretty well. Despite having a little dog, all of the training methods were applicable to any dog size. I did like that I learned how to keep my dog challenged, using the agility methods. I would recommend this program. More...

I was so happy to find a trainer that used only positive reinforcement for Sadie. Jackie was wonderful and Lindsay also was a huge help. Sadie seems to learn quickly and has a long attention span for a puppy which came in very handy with Jackie's classes. Now we just have to keep practicing so we breeze through the next level! Jackie was awesome with our puppy Ella because of Jackie Ella now knows how to sit on her own and almost lie down on her own before good heart we couldn't get Ella to do anything even go for walks she hated the leash thank you Jackie!

As a first time dog owner I had no idea on what to expect from my dog let alone how to train her properly but Jackie helped me SO much. Her amazing knowledge and wonderful attitude toward dogs made the entire experience easy and rewarding. I noticed HUGE results in the first class and constant improvement as the classes progressed. My dog is a female Black Lab that was only 4 months old when I started and despite being a puppy she learned fast. The things that make Jackie such a good trainer is that she knew when I could "push" my pup to do more and when to "stop" and not over do it for a young dog. She is firm but not mean and explains everything she does and why she does it. The class size was amazing as well with 4 dogs in my classes and usually 2 trainers so the amount of one on one with a trainer can not be beaten. The facility was nice and I like the fact that everything was outdoors. There are many different natural distractions there which help to reinforce the training. I learned to have my dog maintain the training regardless of all the natural smells in the air or the group of houses watching the training sessions. I have now completed level 1 and I plan on completing level 2 in a few months once my pup is a bit older.

Bang for your buck this is an excellent dog training facility with passionate and knowledgeable people running it. The only thing I didn't receive was any form of acknowledgement that my dog passed level 1 which isn't a big deal I guess i thought there would be something that said "Luna Passed Dog Training Level 1" or something.

Regardless I would highly recommend this obedience school to anyone looking for a great dog trainer who knows her stuff. More...

He was a highly intelligent dog, a great loyal, calm and confident companion. We took our 4 month old puppy to Good Heart Dog training. We are so happy with the attention we got and the eduction we received. Jackie is great and we look forward to doing more classes with our little pup who made great progress so quickly despite being so young when he started. I had a great experience with training our 8month old puppy at Good Heart. I've trained 2 dogs in the past, this format was more fun and lots of instructor time per student. Learning how to get my puppy to follow commands without having a treat to hand at all times makes so much sense!
