Ryan (DJ Smooth) rocked our wedding. He kept us on schedule and dodged every obstacle that came his way. He kept the party going and was sooo easy going. He really made our wedding spectacular. The bilingual aspect was a little hard, if you're looking for someone bilingual youd probably want to go with one of their other talented team members but Ryan definitely rolled with it. He's such a good personality. He hyped everyone up and kept the party going all night. Thumbs up all the way for DJ Smooth. Photobooth was also a hit. Everyone had such a fun time and even though the photographer left at 9pm. The photobooth continued to capture priceless memories until 11pm. Let's start this review with his name, Alex Bowser. We had Alex as our host/DJ for our wedding in September. Let me tell you, this night was by far the best night of our lives! The details.... we met with Alex a few times throughout the year to go over details and plans, one final meeting the week of. Alex went above and beyond our expectations! Not only was the music on point every single second of the day, but he's also a mini day of wedding planner, and a wedding host (he's great on the mic). All of our guests LOVED him! He makes sure you're on point for your timeline, which was HUGE. He eliminated so much stress and I knew I could kick back and let Alex take the wheel (which is very hard for me to do). Since our wedding, he has booked events from 3 of our guests for their upcoming weddings, I'm telling you, he was awesome and our guests were obsessed! Details for you, I would book ASAP as he tends to get booked out very far in advance, there is an extra cost to have him specifically for your wedding, but he is WORTH every penny I promise you!!! Patrick was an awesome DJ for my previous May wedding. He kept the music upbeat the entire time to where my guests and I danced for over three hours nonstop! The only reason I didn't give five stars is because none of my dedicated songs to specific people were played :( my husband and I had dedicated a song to my grandparents and his dad, and were hoping to show them!Communication wise, Alex was very adamant on making sure we completed a layout of exactly what songs we wanted played during which time, which helped the actual layout of the ceremonies as a whole which I greatly appreciate! I have learned since the completion of our wedding last October, you truly get what you pay for. Great entertainment may not be the cheapest option out there, but with GTE you won't be disappointed! Alex kept in contact with us throughout the planning of our wedding and made it very simple to update our music website with exact songs and timing of each song we wanted. Day of event DJ Patrick arrived early and made sure all systems were working. DJ Patrick played great music, kept each stage of the wedding on track, and was over all great entertainment. I had a great experience booking Good Times Entertainment for my wedding! Isaac and his team are amazing and made it so much easier planning out the music with their online tools available. We did have a little mishap on the day of but they resolved everything so smoothly and it definitely makes for an interesting story. I have booked GTE for our wedding coming UP September 28th. So far, the process has been great. The initial meeting with Alex was very convincing and settled our minds right away that we would be in great hands. We were assigned DJ Smooth which is apparently one of their most requested DJs. We cant wait to see how our special day goes. We haven't worked out any of the details for custom monograms, uplighting, photobooth, etc but I'm hoping we'll get there very soon... GTE literally saved my husband's 35th birthday! I planned a party in 24 hours and needed entertainment and they were able to send a DJ out who was fun and kept our party going! We had our wedding last weekend at Hume Lake in Kings Canyon. We live in San Diego so all of the planning had to be long distance. Upon a recommendation from our caterer, I called GTE. I had a long phone interview with Alex and he was so helpful and informative. We had looked at a couple of other companies but I felt like Alex really cared about our event and not just booking another wedding. He really made it easy to plan from a long distance. Our DJ was Patrick Burke. Or should I say the best DJ ever! We had several phone interviews with Patrick before the big day. The day of the event, Patrick showed up on time and was so friendly and professional. The music from the cocktail party throughout the entire event was spot on. The guest are still raving about how amazing he was. He even got out of the floor and sang 'Shout' and go the whole place rocking. The dance floor was packed all night. Even before dinner was served, people were dancing. I can't say enough nice things about this company. From Alex and Issac who we dealt with in the planning phase to Patrick who is an absolute doll. There are so many reasons why my husband and I are so pleased with Good Times. From the first visit to the last minute of our wedding, we had nothing but incredible service! Isaac was amazing to meet with in his office. His education and philosophy of music and entertainment was exactly what we were looking for. We had been to weddings that had awkward pauses, listening to see what the next song was, or loud honking noises for effect. Isaac sat back and listened to our reception style to give us the dinner music we were looking for then turned up the beats and blended songs together that kept us excited and promised our guests would leave sweating from so much fun.
The DJ we were assigned to was Alex. He was amazing from the first second we met him and he reminded us of a friend of ours so it felt like we were working with someone we knew. He got our taste of music, he texted reminders for appointments, he checked in with us for a timeline of the evening, and instantly became what felt like our party planner! He was early to set up, brought additional back up lights for our curtains just in case and he was right, they did look better! He told us how to line up, gave the best introductions that excited the reception, informed our parents and wedding party for speeches (without bothering us), felt the crowd for dance music, garter/bouquet toss, warning for last dance, and probably more than what I was informed of. He was amazing!!!!! I've already recommended him for many of my friends' weddings and one just got married and loved him as well! On value, this company is more than 5 stars. You're not paying for a music DJ. You're paying for an educated entertainment professional for lighting, decor, wedding planner, entertainer, and professional that is not going to embarrass you at your wedding. Good Times Entertainment is the *best* when it comes to wedding DJ's. They respond quickly to all forms of contact (emails, texts, calls). They are extremely helpful in determining your wedding timeline. They provide both an online personalized timeline website also they also sit down with you to help you make decisions, which alleviates so much stress! They work around your schedule and are available to meet with you at your convenience. The day of the wedding they have all the details covered. They are very comfortable speaking in front of crowds and will adapt to your wedding style (e.g. formal vs. casual). Customer service is top notch with GTE. If you need a drink for your toast, they're there to get it for you. If you need ideas for songs or activities (e.g. garter toss, personalized grand entrance, etc.) all you need to do is ask because they can help in all areas of planning! They will keep your reception moving smoothly and are flexible with changes as necessary. They do a fabulous job working with other vendors and come highly recommended by all. Isaac with Good Times Entertainment did an exceptional job with our wedding and exceeded my expectations. Months before the day of the wedding, Isaac called me and my soon-to-be-husband to discuss all the details of the reception to make sure everything ran smoothly from beginning to end. I was blown away that he asked us questions we hadn’t even thought of. We filled out a template on his website that included each dance, special songs, games and anything else we wanted to make our wedding personal to us. What may have been overwhelming task became a fun and easy process because of Isaac’s awesome personality and organization.
Sometimes it’s easy to think that a DJ and host isn’t one of the most important aspects to a successful and amazing wedding, but as a bride, I was thrilled with each moment and how professional Isaac was. The music and transitions were flawless, Isaac’s hosting style was more than well received by our guests and, as everyone knows, a dance is only as fun as the DJ makes it; we had a blast. Good Times Entertainment was fantastic! From the initial meeting with Alex to the wedding day they were amazing. Very professional and accommodating. They were also very helpful during the planning process. Their online portal for the timeline and music choices made planning so much easier and organized. They always got back to me in a timely matter and Issac even went out of his way to find our first dance song when it wasn’t available on iTunes. Ryan was our DJ and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. He contacted me before the wedding to make sure he understood everything we wanted and he delivered. We got so many compliments on how entertaining he was and how he read off the crowd and played music everyone loved. Chris was our videographer and did the same thing. He asked questions beforehand to make sure any special moments we wanted in our video were captured and we love our video! We cannot thank the team at Good Times enough for making our wedding so special! We would give them six stars. Our DJ Alex Bowser planned everything with us remotely staying in touch via their amazing dashboard, email, phone calls and text. The day of the wedding Alex and his colleague Andrew Oxford ran the show. They played a great playlist, revved up the crowd, worked with us on timing, and made the day perfect. The vibe and the atmosphere they provide is off the charts. It all starts with great people, awesome personalities, and good music! Isaac and Sheri were an amazing team to work with for our incredible wedding. Isaac is very easy to reach and communicate with, both via phone and email, and is truly so passionate about his work. He even offered some additional services that he thought we might be interested in and did so in a very NON-pushy, NON-salesman way. I appreciated this, as we had no clue what types of things might be best for a wedding. Out of all our vendors I had the least amount of communication with Isaac and Sheri and yet they delivered INCREDIBLE service--this is good. You don't want to have to spend every waking moment of your planning worrying about vendors. Their system allows you to select songs you want, don't want, and might want for specific times during the wedding. Sheri was amazing, as I said, and made our day feel so special with her enthusiasm and excellent MC skills. My husband and I had Good Times Entertainment for our wedding reception and they made it absolutely magical! We had Rich as our DJ and we are so glad we did! The dance floor was quite literally never empty which makes me so happy each time I look back at pictures! My husband and I were worried about balancing music and communication throughout the night because his family speaks mostly Spanish, whereas my family speaks mostly English but Rich made it happen flawlessly. Everyone at good times was amazing! Alex responded to all my random text message questions and Isaac even went out of his way to call our venue to see about placement for our slideshow and the projector. If your on the fence about picking a DJ company look no further! The song we wanted for me walking down the isle wasn't even a real song, I had heard it off a movie when someone was playing around on an acoustic guitar. When I made the request to somehow get ahold of it I didn't have the highest hopes but Alex totally came thru for us.
We ended up doing both the photobooth and the up lighting options. Sooo happy how the up lighting turned out, definitely an inexpensive way to transform the entire look from a "boring wedding hall" to a "let's get this party started" feel!!! Alex was our DJ for the night and we couldn't have been more stoked! He kept the party going, 3 hours longer then we had originally estimated!!!!! Let me begin by saying that both my wife and I were very particular when selecting a DJ for our wedding, as we felt that a DJ could really set the tone for a wedding.

Alex and Issac were beyond expectations. We met with Issac initially through a Conference call, because we did not live in the Fresno area. At the end of the initial call he demonstrated via FaceTime his skills along with Alex. We were already leaning towards GTE prior to the demo, however, afterwards we were sold.

Their follow up interviews and planning sessions were perfect and extremely helpful with planning the timing and coordination of the wedding day. We were so impressed with their planning and services that we stopped looking for a wedding coordinator and entrusted GTE with that job. They once again performed beyond expectations.

At our big day Alex, our DJ, arrived and setup two locations for us. Even though it rained he was unfazed and was able to properly manage our day to perfection. He was extremely cordial to our guests, even offering to grab a drink for a guest that could not walk down to the wedding seating and thus was closer to Alex.

At the reception as our master of ceremonies Alex was spot on, made up for lost time by making appropriate adjustments to the schedule, and allowing us a good amount of time to party and truly enjoy our day. His music selection was also perfect for our wedding and truly set the mood for our event. Without him I do not believe that our wedding would have been as successful as it was.

Was a blast friends of ours still talk about it to this day, a year ago as if it was yesterday because it was such a Great Party.
When planning my wedding and even up to the day of the easiest vendor I had to deal with was my DJ, Good Times Entertainment. They way they have it all set up is amazing, online you can organize your wedding day of Timeline ! !
Also we had an amazing DJ, Alex, Kept the party going and was part of the party didn't just sit/stand behind the computer.
I would suggested #GoodTimesEntertainment to everyone getting married in the future.
Also just attended a friends wedding 04.08.2017 and they used our DJ company and same DJ and was NOT disappointed ! �

GTE was AWESOME!! We first stumbled on them at one of them Bridal Events that my wife wanted to go to. Called them, set an appointment, got there and met with Alex. And from that it was on. The services throughout the planning phase to the actual day of the event went by so smoothly. We loved the fact that we really kicked it off on the first meet. Discussed the genre of music we liked and what we currently disliked and it just went from there. They were really responsive, the prices per what they offered were not too expensive. GTE was our chosen dj service for our wedding a couple weeks ago. For the most part we were happy with our experience with GTE with the exception of a few things. The first being that myself (the bride) and my whole bridal party were getting ready in the house on-site at our venue and at one point, the Dj let himself in as we were changing which startled me. The second thing, which really bothered me was, during our reception, my husband got up to use the restroom, and the dj came over and sat in his seat at the head table. That in and of itself rubbed me the wrong way, but when my husband came back, the dj actually told him to wait � until he was done talking to me, and remained in my husbands seat. I just had to mention that, because I’m sure the dj didn’t see anything wrong with sitting in his chair, but I think a lot of brides would be uncomfortable with that. Other than those two things though, everything else went great. Our Dj was very good about keeping to the schedule, and was accommodating with my last second, day-of, changes. Zach was our DJ and Elizabeth was our music mixer. They are both so wonderful! Professional, personable, fun, and put out great energy. Together they made our wedding experience absolutely amazing. We got married in the Sequoia National Park, and it are so grateful that they made the drive all the way up in the mountains. They were flexible on their time and scheduling. Helped us organize and orchestrate parts of the wedding reception that we hadn't planned out. All of our guests were so impressed and told us that many times.
