Good Tidings provided a FIVE STAR experience from beginning to end. I was awestruck at the intelligence, teamwork, ingenuity, and strength that our team should while replacing two A/C units in a very tight space.
They were gracious and courteous to me, my elderly mom, my daughter, and our dogs. They educated us on what they were doing, so I didn't feel quite so out of the loop.
I am always appreciative of those who have skills that I don't! We felt cared about, and cared for, and every worker put in tremendous effort.

First off, Good Tidings was open on July 4th when no other vendor was open. Instead of hitting the beach, these guys were at my house fixing my air so that my twin 2 year old sons could sleep that night. thousand stars.

Justin B sold me a new Carrier system to replace 1 of 2 AC units. Completely professional, sat down with me to explain my options and did not push me into actually replacing the unit. I asked him for his professional opinion about what was best given my situation and I trusted his reponse. Still queasy from writing the check but it had to be done.

GT, if you havent promoted this guy yet, get on it!

I am really pleased with Good Tidings and would use them again in a heartbeat. My mom called me at 12pm on a Sunday afternoon very upset about her water heater flooding the basement. I immediately called Good Tidings based on word of mouth reviews. They were on the job right away. This particular work took two visits; before each one I received a call confirming when the tech would be arrive; within a half hour window. I found this to be really helpful. Both techs were professional, courteous, and really knew their stuff. They patiently answered all of my questions and explained the work they did in detail. Joel has been to my house on two occasions and has provided excellent service on both visits. The first time was after a flood in the basement which led to a new water heater and installing a dump pump. While he and the crew were there I had them install a whole house water purification system and it was all done quickly and with expertise. The staff at Good Tidings always provide quality service and stand behind their work. I have used them for many years and have never been disappointed. This week I had to have a new dishwasher installed and it required a new turn-off valve. Brian C. provided a professional installation and worked to get the dishwasher installed perfectly. As always, Brian was very courteous, friendly and careful. When he was finished, you didn't even know a repair had been made!

Once again Good Tidings demonstrated their professionalism and customer service focus. Adam M. and the Good Tidings installation team installed an new carrier furnace/air conditioner on July 14, 2017. The installation was perfect including the new complicated duct work leading to the new furnace. I thought that I had a leaky pipe in my wall but Steven M trouble shot the issue and found that my AC line was not insulted causing condensation which led to nasty bubbles on my wall! Yuck! I have read the reviews that Good Tidings can be "over priced." However, if you've ever had a massive plumbing emergency, don't you wish you just splurged to get the best? And to be honest, Good Tidings IS the best. I've had multiple plumbers at our house. They have not only fixed our issues, but it ALL of their work has lasted because they are quality technicians! I have had Steven M. AND Jamie come to do massive jobs at my house and they have remained informative, professional and personable throughout each visit. Whether it's Steven replacing my toilet in 2 hours (impressive). Or Jamie unclogging my main line on New Year's Eve...yes, I said New Years Eve...I cannot say enough about this company and their workers. I will be a loyal customer for now and years to come. I had Good Tidings come out today (2/19/17) to investigate a leak into our kitchen. Joe M. was our service pro, and he spent a couple hours at our home trying to pinpoint the source of the leak, testing everything that was located above the kitchen. He was thorough and explained everything to me, including showing me inside the walls so I could verify what he was seeing.

At the end, we did not identify any of our plumbing items as the cause of the leak, but he didn't stop there -- he looked outside the house for possible sources of water entry and identified one area for us to further investigate. I was very impressed with his thoroughness and commitment to identifying the source of the water issue.

Even after 2 hours spent at our house, since no plumbing item was identified as the issue, we were only charged a small service fee. Considering this level of service, and the very reasonable cost, I would definitely use Good Tidings again, and will ask for Joe M. if he happens to be available! More...

As luck would have it, our heat broke New Years weekend. They were extremely accommodating and Adam came out same day (Saturday), diagnosed the problem very quickly and gave us several options for repair. He was extremely professional and informative. To no fault of their own, we had to wait until today (Tuesday), when the supply store would resume business hours to get our custom part needed. Adam supplied us with multiple space heaters to keep us warm for the weekend. First thing this morning, as promised, we received a phone call that they were in route to fix our heat! I called Good Tidings at 8AM and Adam M. and Michael arrived before noon. Great fast service even though I'm out the outer boundaries of their service area. Adam M. was thorough and informative all along the process. No work was started until I knew the costs and my options. They were able to fix the furnace and service the other units as well in a very efficient manner. Both Adam and Michael provided incredible customer service - polite and knowledgeable. We will definitely be a future customer! On Easter Sunday (just our luck) our hot water heater started leaking in our newly finished (less than a year old) basement / playroom. Knowing it was a holiday and a Sunday, we were super stressed thinking nothing would get done until the next day (we also had a 9 month old baby so we definitely needed hot water). Good Tidings was able to send a plumber to our house that evening and he diligently worked to replace our hot water heater - working until 1am! He was clean, courteous, and compassionate. (I believe his name was Steven). I don’t know any other company that would step up to the plate like they did to save the day. HUGE thank you from this new Mom!! Good Tidings came to my house in a pinch when the boiler died in the dead of February. They patiently sat with me as we troubleshooted the problem, fully explaining everything as they went along.

We ended up needing to replace the boiler. Removal was day of, they lent us space heaters for overnight, and replacement installed the next day. The heating system works BETTER than ever! I had been having problems with my basement sink for over two weeks. I called in who I thought were plumbers only to find out they are only plumbing technicians. I was told by them to get a plumber. One of my co-workers gave me the name of Good Tidings so I called. They had someone come out the next day (if I had someone home that day they would have come then). He saw the problem and said someone would come out the next day to give me an estimate. Adam came and explained everything in detail. Bottom line, the problem was fixed and I could not be happier! The service was excellent beginning with my phone call to the company. The customer service person listed my concerns, reviewed them with me and told me he would call back with scheduling details. When the technicians arrived they brought a carpet to wipe their feet as they are going in and out of the house---Love this! Our boiler was over 20 years old and the issues were many. After we weighed the cost of fixing an old boiler or purchasing a new one, we decided to have the boiler replaced. They arrived the next day and went to work. My 92 year old mother called GT after her heating was not keeping up with the thermostat. They came out the same day as an emergency call as she is a VIP contract customer.

On the first visit they were stumped about why the limit switch was coming on and not allowing the furnace to keep up with the thermostat. They recommended a duct cleaning suspecting the issue was low airflow. The duct work was very dirty. It had not been cleaned in many years. I had the ducts cleaned 4 days later. I called for a follow up visit because the heating system was still showing the same error codes and had the same issue of heat not keeping up with the thermostat. Again they came out the same day I called.

Steven took troubleshooting to the next level - he tested everything again and didn't give up until he figured out it was the blower motor. This was a very difficult diagnosis and took significant time.

He didn’t have the part on the truck (it was 10:00PM) and said they should have it the next day. Steven left 4 portable electric heaters behind at no charge to keep the house at a comfortable temperature that night.

At 8:50AM the very next day I received a call to schedule the installation and the part was in their possession.
