I cannot recommend Good Mortgage Solutions highly enough. They didn’t try to sell a product(s) we didn’t need. They just listened. They listened as we went back and forth about what type of mortgage we wanted. They were so patient and when we eventually made our decision, they gave us sound, none-jargon advice. Finding the right mortgage was very important to us and they appreciated this. They understood that this was not our world, we were new to this and they didn’t make us feel silly. Due to their vast knowledge and experience, they quickly answered all our questions and gave us the honest pros and cons. I can imagine that they’ve been asked these same questions a million times, but they still didn’t make us feel like a number or just another set of first-time buyers. The team found us an excellent mortgage with a competitive interest rate – and the £1000 cashback was an amazing, helpful surprise. They didn’t push us to accept a deal they found, and we truly felt that they wanted to make sure that it was an affordable, sensible option for us. And our experience didn’t end here. The team then helped us to co-ordinate the details of our purchase. They checked in regularly with the estate agent, mortgage provider as well as our solicitor to ensure everything was moving along as quickly as possible. This can be a complex stage (especially for first time buyers) but Good Mortgage Solutions proactively gave us a heads up about what to expect and sent us a weekly update on the status of our purchase. They ensured that all parties involved operated on the same level as them – you know, that “on the ball” kind of level. After saving for a long time, buying our first home was a big deal for us and Good Mortgage Solutions truly appreciated this. It was amazing to celebrate our purchase completion with you guys and we look forward to re-evaluating our mortgage in the future when our current fixed-term mortgage deal ends. I’ve just bought my first home and can honestly say I couldn’t have done it without Paul, Chris and Steve! Paul came to my house for my initial consultation and explained the whole process in a way that was easy to understand for a first time buyer. They sort out pretty much everything and keep in contact with the solicitors and builders to always keep you in the loop and even though I live and work away I was always sent constant updates so I knew exactly what was going on. Chris was always there whenever I had any questions (numerous as they were) and never made me feel like I was bothering him or that my questions were silly. Everyone always says how stressful buying a house is but it’s not with these guys! I passed on a friend of mine to GMS, they had been told by their bank they could not get a mortgage. Paul took the request on and with his knowledge of the market was able to find a suitable mortgage product and help complete. It all came down to none of the original banks products fitted and they had no where else to go.

Having had experience of other mortgage providers Good Mortgage Solutions were a breath of fresh air.
Professional & courteous at all times, they listened to my needs and not once did they try to take me down another route regarding my finances. We today completed the purchase of our new home! From initial contact right through to completion today, the service we have received has simply been outstanding! Our Adviser, Chris, is possibly the most supportive and courteous guy we've ever met. No pressure - and I mean NO pressure. You really feel in complete control and with a brief one to one meeting, all the relative information is gathered for a thorough investigation and match up into literally thousands of mortgages. We were stunned at the deal we got, and not really a main stream lender either. But I suppose being an independent, whole of market, broker they can find deals which you may not even be aware of. We got weekly updates throughout from Steve via email which were very useful and handy. Chris was always just a phone or text away. He even came back to our house twice to collect documentation. Literally, bent over backwards. Struggling really to articulate the service as its just too damned good to describe.......seriously, if your in the market for a mortgage, do NOT fail to give this company a call! Myself and my partner literally just moved into our first home with a nice little mortgage. Ever since my first email with Paul I have never felt safer as our previous adviser with a different company was feeding us a load of talk from his backside. These guys know their stuff! Paul came to our previous house a couple of times to have a chat and gather all the information and documentation required to find us the best deal so we did not even have to do any running around! The weekly updates from Steve always keept us in the loop and occasional call from Chris if they needed any further information or even to let us know the more important details was spot on. We did not have to chase any of these guys 1 bit. Always there when you need them. Even if it is just a little bit of advise they are always there for YOU!.
