Cleanest Golds period! Cleaning staff is amazing. Corporate Golds in Venice needs to learn from this gym. Negative: The equipment layout is the worst. No rym or reason to layout. They must have hired a hotel consultant company for a pretty layout. After year of going to 24 hour fitness, I made the change and came to Golds about 3 months ago. The facilities are so much cleaner, the daycare set up is a lot safer than 24 hour. I can even watch my son from the screens on the cardio machines, truly comforting to watch him the first few times I left him and build up that confidence to not have to watch anymore. All the daycare ladies are kind and wonderful, and so great with my child. He is not even 2 and he walks in, not a tear, ready to play with this great little group of caregivers they have. I also take classes with Regi. All of her classes are insane, and I have leaned out and lost weight, and am feeling like myself again. Most of the women who take her class are welcoming and supportive, I feel like I have a little family within the gym, and that is such a motivator for me. I can't wait to come in, work out with my girls, and get the results I'm looking for. I look forward to working out, and that's HUGE! The trainers are all very friendly and smile and greet me most days, the members are mostly friendly as well. Like most gyms, I have encountered a member or two who have been territorial or aggressive, but Daniel, who signed me up encouraged me to inform the front desk, as they have a zero tolerance for that type of behavior and will handle it accordingly. Really great to be supported, and know that Golds prioritizes the environment they are providing for their members to workout comfortably. I recently have been having issues with their not being enough weights in the group training classes, and have been in contact with the manager Halie is has been working tirelessly to get us more equipment. It's taken a bit, but her efforts are so appreciated, and I know she will get us more weights soon, as she has been very good at updating me and staying on top of it. Lastly, the additions they are doing are spectacular, and their pricing is amaaaaaaazing for all the amenities and new additions you get. The gym is clean, the showers and steam room and sauna and bathrooms are waaaay cleaner than 24hr fitness. It even smells better in there. So happy I made the change. More...

I have been going for 5 months now 5-6 days a week at varied times during the day. The evenings after work can get crowded but if you use your imagination. ... there are several different machines, free weights, kettle balls, etc to get a good solid workout in. The staff is friendly and helpful. The trainers are great. Sales people can be persistent but it is their job and the gym is a business.... I think overall Gold's gives you the biggest bang for your buck. I have been coming here for 10 + years I absolutely love this gym the front desk staff are always friendly. Both of my kids go to to kids club they love it! ! The girls in there are so caring and truly enjoy their job. My girls look forward to play time!! The classes here are great! Love body pump, body combat and especially Zumba!! Josh and Jolleen are hands down the best teachers!! Their classes are fun and you really burn those calories. One of the other zumba class is too much drama so I stopped going it was more about cliques then working out...the instructor is good he is always vibrant and fun its just the vibe that some of the girls put out there...but overall I have had always had a great experience at Golds!! I really enjoy this gym.  I have no complaints about it whatsoever, although I do go in the morning or the early afternoon.  I love love the cinema while I do my treadmill because I lose all track of the time and get a great workout (without realizing it).  The massage therapist there is PHENOMENAL! (Yeah, you can work out and get a massage all at the same place, cool huh?)  Brandon has a massage table and chair for on the spot massage. Really knows his stuff, deep tissue, really convenient.  I think he's there Mon, Wed and Fri but by appointment.  He's with Miracle Healing Massage in Simi.  Try him cuz you'll feel so awesome after. Good gym, and the times I go they are never really too crowded (630 to 730/8). Clean facility and friendly staff. I have to say, I was hesitant to join thinking it was a meatheads gym, but was pleasantly surprised. Use free weights, machines, treadmill. Do not shower there unless I MUST, not a fan of the locker rooms. Be nice if they rented/leased lockers. Clean towels, the take care of military, vets and first responders nicely, too. This is one of my favorite Gold's Gym locations. It's bigger than most of the ones I have been to and isn't crowded most of the time. I've never had to wait for a machine, unlike some other locations. The locker room is spacious and has plenty of benches and vanity stations. I did have an employee give me a bit of an attitude when I was using one of my visit days at this gym, which was annoying and unprofessional. That's the only reason I took one star off. I'm a member here at Golds Gym and it's a really nice gym. They have pretty much every aspect or style of fitness to tailor to everyone's needs, from swimming to Zumba classes, to boxing etc. .. you name it. Staff is very friendly and so are the people who go here. The only downside, which is out of anyone's control really, is that it's pretty packed for most of the time it's open. I've been at all different times and it's always busy. Which is something you would expect from a gym with a great reputation. Went to the Halloween Monster Mash Master Class today! There was a $5 donation which went to the Breast Cancer Foundation! ! They raised over $350!! It was so much fun. Everyone had their costumes on and was dancing like there was no tomorrow! There was so much positive energy. Thank you to Misty for putting on this event! Super super clean, parking is a little challenging on the weekend. Many amenities that a lot of gyms do not have such as an outdoor pool and indoor tanning. Plenty of machines for everyone :)
