We do this by checking that everything you are putting into the company is used and isn’t going to waste, and that you are monitoring the processes bringing customers into your company, and by suggesting solutions that fit in with these ongoing activities.
We like to view an organisation in the same manner that a GP view a patients body, that is as a interrelated and dependent group of organs and components. Where the identified pain/issue may not be directly caused in the area that is experiencing the pain, but rather by a separate dependent or preceding element that is not working properly. Also as with a GP we may not be a specialist but we will support you in making decisions/diagnosing problems based on best available information, and then help refer you to the correct specialists when necessary. But as with health if you direct to a specialist they will try to fix your issue by only considering what they specialise in, we on the other hand as you GP does will consider the whole of you.
If we view your organisation as a “Body”, the flow of blood around the body represents the flow of money and information around the body. Limited or interrupted flows of either of these leads to reduced efficiency and performance issues.
Also as with a body we accept that it is not desirable and some times not possible to stop the Business to implement change . Although you can stop a body to fix a problem ,this is a last resort and often leads to greater problems. Being prepared for change through small changes and improvements places a body(business) in a better position to survive bigger changes.
The overall body presentation Is how healthy your body(Company) appears to the outside world – e.g. is it flabby and slow or lean and efficient.
